Due to the event of globalization and the process of conducting business and trade
becoming extremely streamlined, the field of business management has become quite rewarding
and lucrative as a career option to pursue. I would like to take the advantage of this remarkable
growth by further enhancing my business management skills by undertaking a top-up course at a
prestigious university in London in the field of business management. The main drive behind this
commitment to further my education is to one day open my own business and become an
independent venture owner. In order to ensure this dream comes true, I am committed to enhance
my knowledge of business management which is why I would like to pursue this top-up course at
the university.
My educational background is also very suitable to take up this educational undertaking
as I have obtained by higher national diploma in the field of business and management from
regent college in London which is a prestigious institute of UK. During my stay at the college, I
have participated in various public activities which have made my communication skills top
notch and I am very proficient in knowledge about various elements of market research and
analysis using models such as SWOT, PESTLE and VRIO analysis which makes me a valuable
asset for educational institutes if given the opportunity for enrolment. This is a testament to my
commitment towards upholding my dream to become a business owner as I have good
knowledge of basics regarding how to properly manage a business. However, in order to apply
this knowledge in a practical manner, I am in need of a more professional educational degree
which explains my genuine need to pursue this course from a top-up university.
My current work experience is also highly valuable in terms of going for a top-up degree
in business management as my work experience of being a uber driver has instilled many key
skills in me which can benefit the university and can also justify my inclusion. During my
current stint as an uber driver, I have taken exceptional care of my car and have been rated
highly by the customers as I have high standards for service quality and customer satisfaction
which are two key pillars needed for modern business success. I have a history of loyal
passengers and have duly complied with all company rules and regulations of Uber which has
granted me key experience of working in a global corporate environment. I have also completed
many car rides before time by taking the shortest and fastest routes when the customer is short on

time which has made me very capable in terms of dealing with stressful situations and executing
tasks under pressure in a diligent manner.
The admission into this course at a top-up university is very important in order to achieve
my dream of owning my own business in the future and for the sake of building the blocks of
business acumen and management to perform daily business routines. My work experience as an
uber driver has instilled me with key discipline and I vow to remain dedicated throughout the
duration of my education regarding this course.
