Personal Statement

Presently I am working as care assistant at stroke ward in NHS trust. NHS Trust is believed as
cutting edge of government’s dedication to delegation and decentralization of public services.
The organization provides freedom to its employees for innovating and developing services in
accordance with requirement of patient and local communities. In present scenario, as major of
organization focus on money making rather that providing excellent service to the needed one. In
shelter of range of greatly qualified, passionate practitioners, all of whom have modern
proficiency and regularly revive and modernize acquaintance, I would be able to stay enthused
and learn the ability which is related to our job. As Guest speakers are also a part of our training
so that they will share their experience with us, offering us with further valuable imminent in the
realism of contemporary business and proficient practice. The knowledge attained during
seminars will assist me in resolving the future complexities relating to my profession. As per
assertions of Hall and et.al. (2015), listening and attending are far the very important part of
being an efficient healthcare proficient.
Practical session attended during course will provide me information relating to the manner in
which I should attend mu patients rather I would learn to deals with different kind of patients.
The fact cannot be denied that one can provide appropriate solution only if he assess the problem
in appropriate manner (Mroczek and Little, 2014). Through being part of activities such as
having practical experience at different organization; where I would learn the manner in which
organization work and deal with issues relating to the patient and service provided to them. The
exposure which I will get during this course will not only enhance my existing level of
knowledge but will also increase my experience. Seminars relating to mental health services and
hospital services are part of the course. Being part of conducted seminars I would be able to learn
to deal with patients and how to motivate them to live. I will met patients during these seminars
from which I will learn the way patients provide their problem and the manner in which an
professional have to deal with it.
As there are many patients who are destructive, impatient and irritable on admission because of
which, I only desires to deal with patients which are stable. Thus, the experience will be helpful
for my future too. As, I will practice to be very calm and talk with patients very smoothly. I will
also assess my performance and recognized the parts which need to develop so that my standard
of performance and the attainment of my life increase. Taking participation and involving in

leadership activities like allocating task to all the members in accordance with their qualities and
this would be advantageous for me at this phase of learning. Through this I will be able to
recognize my good qualities and weak points. By getting training I will come to know that how
easy it is to communicate with others smoothly and calmly. With assistance of same I would be
able to provide health services in best possible manner. The practical session and knowledge
which I will gain during the course will assist me in delivering services provided by an assistant
practitioner in more appropriate manner. A significant importance to staff engagement as well as
training and development is being given, as due to specified variants one is able to provide
service in efficient manner.
