Personal Statement

The theoretical knowledge is required to conduct practical procedures and activities
related to particular field which is essential to start a career. I am currently pursuing Humanistic
Counselling practice and want to grow my career and focus on my passion. I have an experience
of working in Quality Reliable Care including leading a team, ensuring documentation records in
correct way and helping people having brain injuries & physical disabilities. However, I want to
study further to pursue a degree of MSc Forensic Mental Health from a very reputed college in
the country. Moreover, I want to enhance my experience in forensic mental health from your
college to enhance my knowledge about discipline of psychology along with its methods,
applications and techniques. I want to become perfectionist in this field so that I can conduct
overall desired practices or research in appropriate manner with better outcomes. In addition to
this, I have diploma in Health & Social Care which is equivalent to five GCSE's grade C from
Sussex Downs College and achieved Health & Social Care Double Award- DD along with many
more rewards from Health Field Community College. During my diploma, I have attained merit
in Human Lifespan Development and a distinction in vocational experience within health &
social care setting.
I want to improve my knowledge level and practical skills through studying MSc in
Forensic Mental Health as it will facilitate to boost up skills necessary research informational
and capabilities through appropriate methods & techniques. It is helpful to me for learning about
robust understandings of science practitioner model of working, developed both teaching as well
as experimental knowledge. I have achieved Science Double Award- DD, Design & Technology:
Graphics- B, English - D, English Literature – D, Religious Studies- D, History -D, Art and
Design- C and Mathematics- D. Apart from this, I also have license to engage residents in
physical, cognitive, social and therapeutic activities and undertaken lots of house training
including food hygiene, fire safety, health and safety, COSSH and RIDDOR etc. My interest is
to enhance my knowledge and practical skills due to which I want to pursue the desired course
from your college as it helps me fulfil my actual purpose behind gaining more knowledge about
forensic mental health is my passion. Moreover. I have completed Level 3 NVQ in Health and
Social Care in year of 2011 by completing several units of promote effective communication,
promote monitor and maintain health, safety & security in at work place. It also involves the
reflecting & developing own practices, promote well being and protection of individuals,
contribution to planning and administer medication. Now, I am interested to improve my

practical abilities to conduct desired activities or procedures in forensic mental health along with
taking care of individuals
At the other hand, I have completed Intermediate level 2 NVQ Apprenticeship in Team
Leading including communicating information, develop working relations, manage personal
development, participate in meetings, plan, allocate & monitor work of team, ICT and
mathematics. Additionally, I have done Level 5 diploma in management and leadership in Health
and Social Care and children and young people’s services with 22/22 modules. Now, I want
admission in your college for MSc forensic mental health course to make connection between
theories and practical activities in terms of solving problems encountered within forensic mental
health setting in country. However, it is my passion to enhance my knowledge about
contemporary psychological theories and research in order to understand range of forensic
context as well as groups of clients by taking admission in your college. I am interested to gain
proper knowledge foe implementing information and research in independent, ethical, cultural
sensitive and reflective manner appropriately.
In addition to this, I want take admission in your college as it is the best for studying
about forensic mental health in order to expand my knowledge level as well as practical abilities.
I am interested to improve my abilities to demonstrate application of psychology and research in
specific field of forensic mental health by planning, designing and implementing an independent
research project or theoretical dissertation. However, it can be possible by taking admission in
your university as it provide effective lectures, seminars and workshops along with enquiry
based learning which is helpful to increase development of subject knowledge and range of
transferable skills. Moreover, you college provide a precious opportunity to perform in team on
number of modules, give access to course materials and medium for discussion groups in terms
of gaining better knowledge. Additionally, I have decided to pursue of course of MSc Forensic
Mental Health from you college as it is best choice to achieve better theoretical knowledge and
practical experience in proper manner. It will provide support to follow my passion of making
career in this fields and contribute my efforts for solving relevant problems in society. I want to
improve my skills, abilities and information sufficiently to make my career bright in future.
At the other hand, Forensic mental health services are responsible for providing
assessment and treatment of people suffering from a mental disorder and a history of criminal
offending or those who are at risk of criminal offending. I want to take admission in you college

to gain appropriate theoretical and practical knowledge in order to contribute my efforts for
social welfare relevant to this field. It includes various kinds of forensic techniques and practices
which are required to be carried out carefully in order to get correct results about an individual. I
want to become much perfectionist to conduct overall forensic procedures and techniques in
accurate way in respect of solving various problems in several cases. Meanwhile, taking
