INTRODUCTION
The following report demonstrates personal statement of an individual who is deciding to take
admission in course of international relation within Brunnel University. There is illustration of
different skills and abilities that provide me help for getting admission in college.
MAIN BODY
Reasons for choosing to study at Brunel University London
I've been fascinated by international relations since I first became aware of the Somali civil war.
Being portion, the contrast between my rich life in the UK and the poverty of family members in
Somalia has particularly struck me: I want to understand the motivations behind such inequity,
especially in a global society. I'm interested to see how Somalia's politics will alter under the
country's leader, especially whether Al-Shabaab will be tackled. I've been captivated by the ever-
changing world we live in since childhood, eager to understand and investigate the origins and
implications of present and future interactions between people. I began listening to the Broadcast
and reading globally known periodicals and periodicals when I was a teenager.
I've come to believe that obtaining a third-level degree in international affairs would enable me
to get information that would enable me to explore a variety of options. My current professional
objective is to locate an appropriate position within an international organization, such as the
United Nations, preferably with an emphasis on supporting those who have been displaced due
to civil unrest, war, or family violence.
Despite my many interests, I've always been drawn to international relations since it's an
interesting workplace with a lot of expectations and difficulties. However, the aspect of
international relations that interests me the most is that this can touch the lives of millions of
people, both locally and globally.
I am a forward-thinking guy with drive, ambition, and talent, all of which are essential
characteristics for successful international relations. I have good team-working abilities, can
work independently or in a group, and have outstanding organizational abilities that I have
acquired from my academic and professional experiences. Ability to make analytical judgments,
people management, decision-making, analysing business conditions, and finding essential issues
are among my core abilities. I have good interpersonal skills that enable me to properly
communicate business information to my target audience, as well as the ability to make well-

I learned about the connections between political concepts, institutions, and processes in the
United Kingdom through Government and Politics. I'd like to expand on this knowledge and
begin to engage in comparative politics as well as transfer my emphasis to other regions of the
world. As a result of my studies in geography, I've learned that conflict can emerge due to
geographical issues such as water insecurity, as seen by the 1967 Arab-Israeli war, which lasted
six days. I'm interested in learning about other potential contributing elements as well as
nonviolent alternatives to conflict. In Economics, I was particularly interested in knowing how
monetary policies may effect China's future growth. I'm looking forward to learning more about
politics.
Every summer, I spend at least a month in France honing my language skills. Aside from
knowing French, English, Czech, and Slovak well, I've been learning German at school and
trying to self-study Hebrew. Mensa, Net-Aid.org, Greenpeace, and the Czech–Japanese
Association are all organizations in which I am involved. I'm excited for the difficulties and
possibilities that studying in the United Kingdom will provide. I am really grateful for the
opportunity to be a part of such a prestigious institution as your university, and I feel that via my
temperament, work ethic, and previous experiences, I can contribute in some tiny manner to its
overall success.
