PERSONAL STATEMENT
A personal statement is a document necessary to be submitted in college and university
application forms. The educational institutes requires to seek knowledge through a reflective
statement about the reason why student or an applicant is willing to learn and develop skills in a
particular professional stream. The personal statement supports the application form of college
and universities in which a student wishes to study and develop skills and capabilities for their
future and professional lives.
Business management is phenomena and a procedure devoted to plan, organise, analyse,
develop and control various types of businesses and operations of organisation. This is a degree
programme developed for professional purposes in order to renders skills and knowledge to
students and applicants about how to develop and run a business successfully and efficiently.
Business management is a coursework enabling the professional to receive knowledge about
several different aspects related to running and operating a firm. The business management
programme develop a unique skill set in candidates which renders them the potential for dealing
with numerous situation occurring while conducting business actions and activities.
I am applying to ABC University for the course of business management in order to
develop my proficiency and competencies in the field for fulfilling my future goals. As a
youngster I have a goal to be a successful entrepreneur by starting and running my business with
all the hard work required. For doing so I need to be skill-full and competent that is referring to
the professional knowledge and aspects to be gained for operating in the practical world of
business.
I hold an enthusiastic and positive perspective about my future for becoming an
entrepreneur and serving the world with new offerings and contributing towards the
enhancement of the society. The aim is to run and earn through the new innovative ideas and
establishing the business which is profitable and supports the economy as well. While pursuing
the course of business management there are few attributes that are necessary and evaluated by
the faculties in the candidate.
In relation to the same I am holding few skills and efficiencies which are needed for the
course and by which the faculty members will make their decisions in relation to accepting my
application in the ABC University. As a learner I have developed few interpersonal skills that are

effective communication, team working and purpose oriented which will allow me to work in a
team on assignments with my team members.
Moreover, I have certain certificates and awards rewarded to me in my schooling days
through inter and intra school competitions on national and international level. I have been
studying about business and over the years in my educational practices I have developed more
and more interest in the field of management and business. I am certainly looking forwards for
my future and especially with such top rated educational institutes like ABC University.
