A person always takes the steps in the career consider their short and long terms
objectives that helps them to achieve the success in the near future. I have some short and long
terms career objectives include, one of the short-term objective of working with a multinational
company at the manger designation. Another short-term objective is to gain the leadership skills
that are somewhere missing when it comes to the career growth and development. My long-term
objective is to open the new start-up in the competitive market with the innovative idea. The
skills and characteristics that I already have include the interpersonal communication skills,
problem skills, decision-making skills, and many others. These skills effectively contribute in
improving the achieving the further career objectives (Aithal, 2015).
According to the objectives, I will take the actions before the course of MBA that can
contribute effectively related to the career outcomes. Firstly, I will decide the course that helps in
achieving the success in my career path. For example; my own business and for this career my
preference will be course of entrepreneurship that helps me to gain the knowledge for the
improved career outcomes. Further, I will also take the steps in searching for the institute from to
avail the degrees, as this will help me in getting the good placement opportunities in the market.
Thus, the appropriate selection of the university is one of the major factors that make me to visit
the campus and search about the faculty at the university (Elliott & Soo, 2016).
In addition to this, during the course I will focus on my course study that helps me in
learning the factors that can influence me in achieving the career outcomes. Further, the course
of entrepreneurship offers the creative and innovative mind-set that will enhance my skills of
getting more idea. I will also participate if there will be any activity in which we will get the

chance to meet the well-known entrepreneurs so that they can provide the right skills for opening
the new start-up. This will effectively contribute in meeting my career objective at my career
outcomes (Read, Sarasvathy, Dew & Wiltbank, 2016).
I formed objectives and according to that will pursue MBA for the career in becoming
entrepreneur. I am very unsure that how I will follow my career path after my MBA. It is sure
that I want to meet my objectives but unsure that how to proceed for such objectives. For
example, the course of MBA will equip me with for the future path by improving my knowledge
about the need of the funding, sources, business idea, creativity, and many others. The practically
meeting with the entrepreneurs and the path way helps me in following a set pathway towards
my career. Further, the will develop the skills of leadership which helps me to achieve the
success in the market.
