PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am pleased to share this personal statement as a part of my admission in Master of
Business Administration (MBA) in supply chain management. From the early days of my
graduation I have always been inspired by the success stories of industry leaders and their
innovative concepts which can give new heights to any business. The supply chain management
(SCM) are becoming an important aspect of the success in business. This area covers a wide
range of topics such as demand and constraint management, lean supply, performance logistic,
warehousing and transportation management.
By taking admission in this university I will get an opportunity to evaluate the different
challenges, scope and methods of assuring smooth flow of goods and services through efficient
supply chains. I have witness my relatives and familiar groups who make great efforts to support
their business in this technically advancing business era. I have always been interested in
exploring new technologies into practical usage. I have strong belief that by pursuing this master
program I will definitely achieve my long term goal of establishing a successful business
venture.
The logistic and SCM efficiency will help me to achieve these targets. I believe that
analytical and communication skills are may key strength which could help me to become
efficient team leader. I used to take part in the social and charitable events which provide me a
platform to communicate with people so that they can actively participate for the good cause. It
allows me to interact with many business ventures who are facing hard time in managing their
supply chain. It inspired me that this course will enhance my capabilities to lead the teams and to
achieve the business objectives.
The admission to MBA course is a milestone to analyse the real challenges which I may
face while executing my own business. Recently I also came to know about an opportunity to
grow in a leading organisation which operates globally. However, I feel that currently I do not
have required strategic and management skills which can be used for managing supply chain on
such a wide context. In order to achieve my long term career objective of becoming a successful
business entrepreneur I must enhance my capabilities of innovative, strategic and risk
management skills. These skills in business and marketing framework can be best utilised by
completing this course.

When I communicated with the other students, tutors as well as industrialists then I
realise that my decision of taking admission to this course is perfect. The university is highly
suitable for me because of its location, academic services provided and vast growth opportunities
in terms of learning and placements. I am very social element and love to interact and know
strong personalities.
The master degree in business will enable me to regularly communicate with the
inspiring personalities and even to enhance my own capabilities so that I can set an example
among my subordinates. With my skills and positive attitude towards goals, I will surely
successful in accomplishing this program with excellence.
