1PERSONAL STATEMENT
I have been the person who would want to learn new things for increasing the capability of
contribution. I am an experienced safety and health professional with an experience of
working at various complex working environment with the aim of addressing diverse client
groups. I would like to enroll myself in a MBA program, where I can learn and incorporate
the skills and competencies of developing the expertise of addressing and managing the
internal and external customers. The learnings from the MBA program will help me develop
the expertise of working in the field of Finance, Human Resources, staff handling and
Marketing Management.
I have worked in various fields in my career, which includes working as customer service and
security official at Heathrow Airport. The experience developed from the position of
handling a diverse group of customers in a critical safety environment. Along with the
learnings regarding the concept of occupational health, the busy airport environment helped
with the understanding of customer handling. For utilizing and extending my understanding
regarding health and safety, I applied for the opportunity at Hamad International Airport in
Qatar. The experience at the Hamad International Airport taught me to take responsibility and
accountability for executing management decisions. The experienced developed my policy
management and execution skills, risk management competencies and auditing skills. I have
been a part of the customer handling and inspection field.
I would like to expand my areas of expertise by learning to cohesively tie my existent skills,
which led to the decision of applying for a management role in the fields of Marketing,
Human Resources, Finance and employee handling. The best way to develop the required
knowledge regarding managerial position is to pursue the MBA degree program. In my new
job role, the job requirement in regards with skills are innovative and creative thinking,
interpretation skills for financial information, stakeholder management, staff handling and
employee engagement, effective communication skills, analytical skills, and budget
controlling and management skills.

MBA program will be a major contributor in my next phase of career in management. MBA
program will developed my understanding regarding market trends, demand and competition,
which can reflect in the decision making skills in regards with customer satisfaction. MBA
program will help in the construction of business network. MBA will develop my
understanding and contribution in the functional areas of the organization, as the structural
curriculum of MBA helps with the overall knowledge of the operating and functional areas of
a business. One of the best provision, which can be acquired from the MBA program for my
job opportunity is the development of transferable skills. The transferable skills can enhance
my capacity of reflecting my contribution in all the significant areas of the business.
There are significant competencies, which can help me in linking the existence and required
knowledge for the current job opportunity in managerial role. One of the skills thinking
strategically. Although I have been a part of the planning team for quality assessment but the
skill of constructing plans in consideration of both internal (staff) and external customers
(consumers) will require better understanding of the market. The construction and
maintenance of the cohesiveness regarding the past and present experiences can be
incorporated by learning self-discipline that can be accommodated through the MBA
program.
Lastly, I would like to add that MBA will help in stimulating various career opportunities and
will contribute in the skill of implementing strategic decisions, which can be facilitated
through the learning of time management.
