In order to achieve the strategic goals of an organization it depends mainly on the
personal and professional skill of strategic managers. Further in this research personal and
professional skills have been discussed in this assignment. Organizations depend upon capable
leadership to guide through different aspects. Therefore the study will further set the objectives
to meet the personal development which needs in the context of strategic. Analyse the factors
which impact on the creation of organisational vision. At the further section it will also define
the benefits of review.

Strategic Thinking : Strategic Thinking skills is the most essential skill which should have in
strategic leaders or managers. It helps to build an idea for the company vision where company
wants to achieve goals (Asah, Fatoki and Rungani, 2015).
Planning and Delivery : Planning and delivery skills is necessary important to be personally
organised and motivated as a leader. For presenting the planning and controlling it is very
necessary to form a differentiating result oriented task to be more energetic and forming the
company vision and mission.
People Management : the basic role of leaders is to motivate their leaders and followers into
more realizing form (Boylan, 2016). This is a very challenging skill for every leader to make
how to manage the group of a team.

strategic managers to form and develop the strong action plan for the organisation development.
This knowledge of theories and concepts are very useful to determine the best advantageous

a n individual can be profitable for the organisation as well. But on the same side, critics argues

Activities for personal development
As identified in the personal skill audit conducted above, there are certain skills like team
building skills, change management skills, IT knowledge etc. which I need to work upon and for
that purpose I intend to follow a set of activities that will help me in accomplishing those
activities (Mittal and Dhar, 2015).
I am planning to join coaching classes for developing my IT skills where I will learn
about different tools and techniques related to latest technological developments. These
skills will help me in developing my core competency.
Reading various books on time management and team building skills will further assist
me in developing the ability of influencing others and thus become a successful manager
so that I can succeed at Ayam brand.

Discussing the factors impacting creation of organisation vision.
There are several factors which impact company vision and goals of the organisation.
Like lack of resources this factor limit the growth of the development due to which company
cannot achieve their set goals and objectives. Like resources are financial resources, human
resources, machinery, land etc (Mumford and et.al., 2017).
Lack of knowledge and skill in personal can be the another factor which impact company
mission and objectives. Reason behind, low productive and lack of creativeness can limits the
growth and strategies for the better accomplishment of aims and objectives.

There are some techniques and approaches in order to develop a company vision such as given
below:
Brainstorming is one of the most leading technique which come up with new thoughts
and ideas by different mindset of people.

Encourage a bottom up/grass roots to generated vision and growth.
Visualisation is the effective approach to build up the new thoughts and innovative ideas

Stakeholders are the individuals who interested in the operations of a business. Like customers,
employees, investors, suppliers. But in such situations stakeholders are not happy and satisfied
with the commitments of the organisation (Plant, Barac and Sarens, 2019). For example due to
improper vision or message of the organisation can affect the stakeholder perception in the
context of the organisation. Low commitment outcomes is the another affecting fact which
ineffective for the organisation development.

In order to satisfy customers, employees suppliers. Company should always fulfill the

The benefits of the skill audit tool that helped in achieving the personal and
organisational achievements are focused training and development which will help in
concentrating on self development and it will also lower the cost of organisations on training.
Through this the firm can save the money and invest in other dimensions of the organisation. As
the focus was on self development it increases the performance as well as productivity, that was
beneficial in achieving personal and organisational goals. The enhanced productivity helped the
organisation in achieving it's objective and motivates the individual (Sayles, 2017). By using
skill audit tool the focus was on career patching and succession planning that provided the exact
information that is needed to achieve both the personal and organisational objectives. This has
helped the individual in knowing their own strengths and weaknesses, so that they can wok on
them and helped the organisation in knowing who are their best and worthy employees to be
retained and will be beneficial for the organisation. Through this tool it is reviewed that the skills
and knowledge has been improved that is helpful in personal development and for the
organisation as well. Accurate knowledge about the current competence has increased that has
brought a sense of competitive spirit that is helpful in personal development and organisational

observe the teaching sessions and this will help the individuals in knowing their strengths and
weaknesses (Tian, Risku and Collin, 2016). Peer members can also asked to give the feedback
about the individuals performance. Individual can ask the peer member to observe the
performance and review it and give their suggestion about the achievement of personal
development that will help the individual in knowing their areas that can be further improve. An
individual can ask their subordinates that they can review the teaching sessions and revert their

I reviewed my performance and evaluated my progress, and came to know that
previously I lack team building skills (Rating-1). I was very confused and couldn't handle so
many people or team together, but now I rated myself 5 in team building as I started
communicating and started thinking from others perspective as well. Previously I was poor in
managing a team, getting involved in people and even knowing their perception. I believed in
“I” and not “we”. I take a step forward to interact with others and express my views that helped
me in knowing myself and others view point. I participated in group discussions. I build myself
as a leaders, make decisions when there were conflicts in the organisation. I established group
goals and start work on them along with team support that helped in bringing out the best in me
and in my overall growth and development. I enhanced motivation skills in myself as well as in

my team members (Tian, Risku and Collin, 2016). Motivation needed to be either appraising or
can be monetary rewards.
The second skill is change management I worked upon my cooperation level among team
members and encouraging them to be flexible in adapting any new thing that came around
because that can probably help you grow. I started working on my team skills and motivation
skills that will help in managing change and bringing the best in everyone around. Encouraged
the people around me to accept the change and not fear from it, because previously I myself was
afraid of accepting anything new. I fear change and I was comfortable in working in my own
style and by using the old similar methods, but then I realised that to grow and achieve
something of more worth it is important to accept change. I will give myself (0.5) in this skill,
previously (Tian, Risku and Collin, 2016). I got Change Management skills by participating in
various training programs that enhances the skills, knowledge and abilities. I studied the reports
of various authors that stated that change is the only way to grow further. So I started working on
this dimension by managing everything.
The problem solving skill previously can be rated 2 and now it has increased to 4. Team
building skills has helped in addressing problem solving skills. Back then I was facing issues in
solving problems that occur working in team or for myself. Then I worked on my self like I
started focusing on the root cause of the problem that helped in reaching the main cause and then
finally reaching out for the problem and I changed my mindset like not considering only my
point of view but others as well (Glatthorn and et.al., 2018). So these all efforts helped me in
achieving this skill as well.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of above section it has been analysed from that how much skills and
knowledge can contribute to the management system. Research also reviewed the factors of
leadership and strategic management which makes to the achievement of organisational vision
and strategy. Study also analyse the skill audit to present personal leadership and management
knowledge. Therefore, study also carried out appropriate personal development activities to
develop a knowledge and skills identified in the audit.
