WEEK-1
Personalised learning is an educational approach with the objective to customise the
learning of every student’s skills, interests and strengths. In this particular session, I
observed the various benefits of the learning and how it benefits and contributes in the
development of an individual. It helped me to identify my skills, strengths and interest in
particular field. Personalised learning also refers to the variety of educational
programmes that is basically to cater the needs of a student (Alisauskiene, et.al, 2020).
By attending various educational programmes I realised various core areas I need to
focus on in order to gain knowledge and experience and also enhance my skills and
interest. It helped me to identify my strength and weakness so that it I can improve and
focus on those areas where I am lacking which will surely help me in future in pursuing
my career goals. Personalised learning has helped me to prioritise a clear understanding
my goals. It not only increased my area of knowledge but also boosted my morale to
learn something new which can benefit me in future and also for my personal
development (Lin, et.al, 2020). It has helped me to gain more advanced knowledge which
can help me to achieve and also improve my skills and interest and also increase the
understanding to learn more new things.
WEEK-2
In this particular session I learned the importance of reflection in personalised learning as
I realised that reflection is an important part in the process of learning. It helped me learn
about myself and also assisted in improving my academic skills. Reflection helps to
provide structure in order to evaluate the learning, concepts and theories in order to
enhance the area of learning and also to create new ideas which can be helpful in personal
development of an individual (Holland, 2019). It helped me to identify my mistakes in
learning and also to improve them. The session also discussed about the various models
and framework which provide guidance. The benefit of using the respective model will
help me to draw out the learning points from the experience by applying the systematic
approach. The session also included the different reflective models such as Kolb’s
learning cycle, Gibb’s reflective cycle etc. By applying new approaches, it will help me
increase my learning experience and I will be able to think more creatively and can

applying the Kolb’s model of reflection will help me with new experience and also to
analyse the existing skills of mine and can focus on improving them.
WEEK-3
In this particular session I would like to discuss about the strength and personal
capabilities of mine. I can say that different experiences of mine have helped to identify
my skills and weakness and also ways to overcome this. After asking from many of my
colleagues and conducting survey among my friends I came to know that the weakness of
mine can be negative point in development of my career whereas also happy to know my
positive side which can be beneficial for me in my future career (Fahim, et.al, 2021). I
realised that one of my core capabilities is that I am good at quick decision making and
can adapt quickly to the changes but on the other side I also realised that I lack in
collaborating and communicating which is the most important in the job career. Lack of
communication with your team members and managers can be a negative point which
can be barrier in my development (Hodgson, et.al, 2018). After analysing my strength
and weakness, I realised that it is very important in order to survive in the company or at
any place of work it is very important to interact with the team mates in order to know
their point of view. To improve this I started attending the online lectures which will help
me to improve my communication skills and I can communicate with my team members
at the workplace.
WEEK-4
Writing is considered as the framework for the communication as it helps in improving
the written communication of a student. It helps to memorize things easily because it is
considered as a part of practical knowledge. Academic writing is the clear and focused
writing with the objective to enhance the understanding of a student. This particular

only in enhancing my knowledge but also to improve my communication skills which

In this particular session I have learned about the meaning of plagiarism and how to
avoid the plagiarism. Plagiarism means using ideas, skills and creativity. It involves
coping of the words and images and using ideas in your work. Through this session I
learned about how to avoid plagiarism and one of the ways is to cite the sources from
where the data is collected. I also learned that while including any exact phrase or any
sentences in the text always use a quotation. It means that we have copied the text
directly from the source (Al Bataineh et.al, 2019). It helped to gain knowledge which can
help me in future so that I can present better quality work and avoiding plagiarism will
help to create my own ideas and knowledge and improve my academic writing as well. I
also learned about the references and citations that is if any reference which is taken from
any secondary author it is important to cite the source from where the data is taken for the
academic writing. This will not only help in improving my academic writing skills but
also help me in future through which I can present my work in a good way and succeed in
achieving the goals in my career.

WEEK-8
In this session it was discussed about the developing presentation and interview skills of a
person. It is very important to have a clear objective for a good presentation. The
presentation should be useful for the audience and benefit them in anyway. The
information collected should be genuine and from the reliable source. In order to present
your presentation should practice thoroughly so that it should be properly communicated
to the people. The presentation should include only the reliable information and should
not include unnecessary text which confuses the audience. After learning from the
session I focused on improving my communication skills which is the main part of the
presenting as it is mandatory for me to present my ideas so that people can understand it
easily. Before it created a fear in me to present any project as because of proper
communication which is lacking in me(Yang, et.al, 2020). After examining this I should
focus on improving it by attending online classes and training sessions which will help
me improve my skills and also focus on listening to the views of others which is main
part of the communication as it will develop your listening skills and increase in the area
of knowledge.
WEEK-9
This session aimed at improving the interview skills which included the things required
to understand and improve the interview skills in order to present you in a best manner in
front of the interviewer. I have learned that a job interview is considered as an
opportunity where I can highlight my strengths and my capabilities. By highlighting my
skills will help to maximize and improve my interview skills as well. Interview skills can
be defined as the interpersonal skills that allow us to communicate with the interviewer. I
have focused on my strengths but also observed my weakness that can be a barrier that is
ineffective communication. Improvement in the interview skills is the only area of
improvements but it also includes the effective interaction with the interviewer in order to
grab the attention. I should also focus on interacting with the people in order to
communicate effectively so that I can share my experiences and ideas (Polk, 2018). I
have also learnt that in order to improve my interviewing skills is to know how to use the
