Introduction
Personalised learning is one of the learning approaches that aids in the analysis of the
learner's abilities or skills that need to be improved. This strategy is beneficial and useful in the
development of effective learning strategies that are further developed as a result of creative
learning methods and technology. This report details the factors that I took into account during
my own experience, as there were various elements that I examined during my learning weeks.
This goes into greater detail on the topic and the learning experience I had throughout the course
of my ten weeks of classes.
Week 1

to develop these skills.
In my personality, I have an intra-personal learning style, which means I prefer the
concept of independence and individuality. This allows me to learn at my own pace,
allowing me to stay up with and sustain my development (Bagheri and Manavi, 2021). I
was able to efficiently search for the knowledge that was provided in class by studying in
this manner. By thinking about the numerous themes that were discussed in the first
week of the module. I learned about problem-solving approaches that should be used in
order to get the most out of my research and analysis. This week was merely an
introduction to the entire module, with the overall aspects as well as the stated reasons
presented.

This week, I learned about the value of reflection in a student's life. It aids in the
development of my skills and the examination of the usefulness of each skill in the
student's life. This week, I learned even more because it is an important component of the
learning process (Nijssens, Vliegen and Luyten, 2020). It aided me in understanding how
I learn and how to apply the most effective learning approaches in my life. In addition, I

learned this week that reflection is one of the tactics that can aid in critically analysing
and assessing the abilities I've acquired over the week. Additional reflection also aids the
student in articulating how they learned and felt throughout the week and module. The
reflection helps me analyse the skills I've learned throughout the week, as well as the
application portion.

to develop these skills.
This week, I learned how to conduct a personal SWOT analysis, which was useful in
identifying the areas in which I excel, or strengths, as well as the areas in which I fall
short, or weaknesses. The two most essential areas that aid a person in his academic and
professional life are his strengths and shortcomings (Barrett, Cherubini and Robinson,
2018). I also need to work on my strengths so that I can take advantage of future
opportunities and gain a competitive advantage over other people. The flaws that I have
must be addressed, as this will benefit me in the future in my professional life. The things
that assist students in being the most productive are opportunities and threats.
Week 4

This week, I learned academic writing skills, including how to write academic papers and
how to make them more relevant. I also discovered that academic writing is a style in
which a student writes in a formal but sophisticated manner. I'm considering honing this
skill by practising it over and over again while writing more and more (Jamil and et. al.,
2021). I discovered that research papers, dissertations, and essays are the most common
types of academic writing. I'll hone this talent through writing essays on a variety of
topics in order to grasp the gist of writing and how it should be delivered to the tutor.
This week was consumed by a number of research and dissertation projects, which I
completed while demonstrating all of the academic abilities that I learned in my studies.

This week's emphasis was on general writing and the abilities necessary for generating
reports and content. I learned how to effectively express and write the work so that the
reader may understand the exact thoughts that the writer is attempting to convey. To
develop my writing skills, I used to pick random themes from my academic books and
write about them during the week (Gutiérrez, Adasme and Westmacott, 2019). This
helped me learn as well as improve my writing skills. To improve this talent, I used to
submit my written work to my tutor so that they could review it and point out the areas
where I needed improvement. This assisted me in improving my weak areas and
allowing me to offer my best performance in these areas as well.

This week, I learned about several sorts of plagiarism and how to avoid plagiarism in my
own work. I learned that plagiarism can take many forms, and that it is against the
university's and the original writer's integrity. Plagiarism can be avoided by giving
correct credit to those who deserve it. This is accomplished by referring the written
portion so that the reader is aware that the content is unique to xyz writer. I honed this
expertise by writing content and referencing the relevant sections whenever necessary. I
improved my ability to recognise the type of plagiarism that was employed in the report
(Quirke and et. al., 2020). In addition, I was instructed to work on these areas in my
writing and make sure that there was little or no plagiarism in the original piece of work
I was representing. Plagiarism is one of the acts that falls under the category of academic

misconduct, as it is considered a punishable infraction by the university. Many of the
pupils performed the act before learning about the topic and the misconceptions they had
about it. Plagiarism was one of those concepts that students largely ignored, as they did
the integrity that they were required to follow at university. This week's concentration
was on the introduction of the plagiarism topic and how it is critical to follow in the
academic writing that students perform during the week, as well as throughout my
semester.

This journal should be formatively submitted for feedback, via ULearn, at the end of this
week.
This week's focus was on the skills I'll need when presenting a piece of work after
someone else has done it. I learned a variety of presentation skills that can be used to
successfully communicate information to others. There are various approaches that can
be used to properly communicate a person's views and opinions (Dinham and et. al.,
2021). It can be defined as abilities that assist an individual in engaging with others and
then communicating the messages that the individual wants to send in a clear and concise
manner. I also learned that the presentation should be useful, instructive, and assist the
listener in analysing and making decisions.
Conclusion
From the above study, it can be stated that self-reflection and analysis is one of the most
essential techniques that students can use to acquire a deeper knowledge of the abilities and
learning that they have experienced in the past. An individual can evaluate the areas via which
they have progressed over a period of time. This also aids the student in grasping the new topic
and determining how the skills might be improved.
