INTRODUCTION
Personalised learning can be defined as an approach in education through which
customised learning is provided to students. Customised learning is concerned with integrating
learning with requirement of students and requirement of students is analysed on the basis of
their existing strengths skills and interest along with their needs. This assessment aims at
discussing reflective profile and will be followed by a personal Learning and Development Plan
will be created including individual goals and objectives.
PART A
Reflective Profile
Personalized learning experience has been very beneficial for me from starting of the
experience. This experience has helped me in identifying different aspects of my personality and
also helps me in identifying different strengths and weaknesses that I have. From the beginning
of personalized learning identified and analysed individual requirements regarding my learning.
During my personalised learning experience I had several kinds of feelings regarding my
existing skills and knowledge (Cheng and Chan, 2019). During the experience I realised that I
have several skills and some of the existing skills require to be worked on in order to enhance.
Being perfect in skills enables one to take highest advantage of their skills. Having skills was a
very positive feeling for me and also sometimes when I realised that I lack some of the skills and
this element also caused some negative feelings. However this learning experience helped in
working on and developing skills so that I can take best advantage of my skills both that I
already have and also those that I learned from the experience. In addition to this learning also
helped me in developing several other professional skills. Concerned with learning skills I
learned several skills however important focus that I had during learning experience was on
developing IT skills and digital skills for arts. The reason behind having strong focus on these
skills is because technology has become part of every profession and strong technology skills can
help in getting opportunity and success in different professions (Ullmann, 2017). These are some
of the skills that earlier I was having very limited theoretical knowledge and this is why learning
these skills can be considered as learning from starting and this is why some difficulties and

theoretical knowledge for the skills that individuals are learning can reduce difficulty and also
enable them to learn every faster. This helped me in understanding that whatever skill that I aim
to develop in future I will firstly work on getting theoretical knowledge related to that skill. In
addition to this skill that I already had and wanted to develop them further, working on those
skills was easier and this mainly includes time management because I already had effective time
management skills it was easy to work on it and to develop this skill further. On the basis of
overall experience of learning new skills and enhancing existing skills it can be concluded that
learning experience was highly effective for me and also helped me in utilising different
opportunities that I am likely to have in future (Edwards, 2017). On the basis of this learning
experience I have become able to plan my personal learning and development plan that include
strength and weaknesses along with perceived opportunities and threats. This plan for learning
and development also includes goals and objectives that I have.

Personal Learning and Development plan
Stage 1 – Analysis
Strengths
Communication skills- This is one of the most important skills that enables individuals to
effectively communicate in oral or written form. In addition to this, it also helps in effectively
expressing opinion and perception to influence others.
Research skills- Research skills is an ability that enables individuals to make reliable research
from different verified sources and this is important skill in academics. This skill also helps
individuals in effectively locating, organising, and evaluating information to make it according to
research subject.
Note taking skills- This is one of the very important skills in academic and this enables
individuals to make effective notes on what they listen and study (Issayev, Masalimova and
Magzumova, 2018).

Developing networking skills in 6 months

enables to realising goals and objectives on time.

Developing effective academic writing skills is another important goal (Epton, Currie and
Armitage, 2017). This skill is highly important for academic success and effective writing skill
also help in enhancing written communication skill. In order to develop this skill assistance of
programs and courses can be taken that are designed to help in improving writing skills. In order
to measure this skill feedback from seniors and teachers can be taken.
Developing team working skills in 12 months
This skill helps individual to effectively work within teams and express their thoughts
and opinions while working in a team. This skill is very important for professional success. In

this objective individuals require having good academic success in university in order to get
admission in a recognised university for masters’ education (Schokman and et.al., 2018). Having
masters’ degree enhanced credibility of individual for professional achievements and
opportunities.
Getting internship at a well known organisation

multinational organisations also offer career development opportunities (Plaza, 2020). However
an organisation that offers opportunity for career development will also be one of the choice
because career development and effective working opportunities are very important to consider.

On the basis of above discussion it can be concluded that learning experience was highly
