INTRODUCTION
Personalised learning is undertaken as the educational support for the learning
approaches that has major objective to customise the learning experience, modules
for each and every students as per their strengths, skills and interest. Within the
educational entity it offers the students with the personalised learning plan which is
completely developed by undertaking that what students knows and how they
develop their learning in best manner. The report will contain the effective evaluation
of my personal learning in terms of reflection during my learning weeks. The report
will also contain the PDP that has three suitable parts including personal analysis,
setting goals and personal objectives.
Week 1
Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to
develop these skills.
Week 1 taught me about the module, including which topics will be covered in the
coming weeks and how the knowledge will aid me in reaching success. I learnt how
the module that will be taught to us will aid in the development of more information and
how I can apply what I've learned in dealing with various situations and overcoming the
problems that I will face. Learning diverse abilities in the next weeks will help me gain
confidence in myself and will not make me hesitant to work in any employment
capacity in the future, even if it is due to a lack of expertise (Salleh and et. al., 2019).
This week, I'll be learning more about the module and how it will benefit my overall
development. This module will also assist me in conducting an analysis of my personal
growth plan, in which I will be able to assess my weaknesses. The methods of learning
that will assist me in gaining more knowledge and how my own learning will progress.
This week will be focused on my general development, which will be beneficial to me.
Week 2
Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to
develop these skills.
In Week 2, I will learn about the importance of reflection by being asked self-reflection
questions and identifying the factors in which I need to improve and those in which I
am strong so that I can make an analysis of the path that I should take in selecting the
job role in which I should build my future that will make me happy and satisfied. I
realised that reflecting on myself is helpful in identifying skills that I can pursue. I
developed my knowledge of the abilities and knowledge that I need to study in
comparison to the other students because I am lacking in most of them. This week will
be about self-examination; therefore, I'll identify the habits that aren't working for me
and need to be changed as soon as possible. Also, I learnt that I must build my mind-
set in order to be able to create changes in myself because it would be impossible for
Document Page
me to make adjustments and, of course, grow if I did not do so. This is what I
discovered this week, and it has helped me learn more about myself.
Week 3
Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to
develop these skills.
In the third week, I learnt about personal SWOT analysis, in which I got an
understanding of how a person may analyse their strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, and threats. For me, my strengths and weaknesses are the most
significant factors that will aid me in determining how I can improve my weak skills and
what my strengths are that would aid me in obtaining success. The only thing on which
I need to concentrate is the threats that exist and can obstruct my performance (Sarkar
Arani and et. al., 2019). It's because if I'm able to identify the dangers, I'll be able to
develop in those areas where I'm likely to meet competition. By studying about
personal SWOT analysis, I've gained a better understanding of why it's beneficial to
my learning and how I may use these variables to my overall development. With the
use of a SWOT analysis, I can make an analysis on reorganising things so that I can
deal with any problems that may arise.
Week 4
Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to
develop these skills.
This week, I worked on developing my academic writing knowledge, analysing how I
would be able to communicate my grasp of academic writing with the support of this
knowledge. I developed the skill of thinking analytically with the help of academic
writing since this skill demands me to think in this manner because I will be taking all of
the material that will be easier for people to grasp. When I am able to improve my
academic writing skills, I will be able to improve my research skills, which I am lacking
in when it comes to finding information. I learnt that by improving my academic writing
skills, I will be able to improve many other talents, like my research and analytical
abilities. I struggle every time I have to write an assignment or work on a project, but I
learnt a lot from this module since I learned how to write academically.
Week 5
Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to
develop these skills.
I studied about writing skills in Week 5, where they explained the differences between
academic and reflective writing. This actually assisted me in learning more about how
to write a reflection and how to format academic writing. I am not a strong writer, and it
has been really tough for me to master the structuring of sentences so that others can
understand the entire issue (Yang and et. al., 2021). I know that if I can enhance my
Document Page
writing skills, my communication skills will increase as well, which will aid in the
development of my interpersonal skills with others. I understand that developing my
writing ability will benefit me in a variety of ways, including sharpening my creativity
and changing my mindset. This week was all about honing my writing skills, which will
come in handy in a number of situations.
Week 6
Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to
develop these skills.
This week, I learned about academic misconduct, including plagiarism, which is
employed by students at the institution. This week, I learned how to avoid plagiarism in
files and why using plagiarism in files can lead to significant misconduct at the
institution. I also discovered that all of the university students had distinct perspectives
on plagiarism. Many pupils were unfamiliar of the issue and were plagiarising heavily in
their work (Hopkins, 2019). Following academic integrity can assist the university in
adhering to a general code of conduct in which students are aware that plagiarism
should be avoided and that the work that we present in the university must be original
and that proper credit must be provided to the appropriate person. Paraphrasing is one
concept that we must avoid in our work because it takes the work's authenticity away
from the original author.
Week 7
Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to
develop these skills. Use a minimum of one academic source and reference this.
This week, I learned about the various types of plagiarism that exist, and the strategies
to avoid plagiarism in files were also discussed. Because plagiarism is one of the most
common forms of academic misconduct, any type of plagiarism in the university will
result in harsh consequences for pupils. Direct plagiarism, mosaic plagiarism, self-
plagiarism, and unintentional plagiarism are the categories I learned in class.
Plagiarism can be avoided by students by avoiding using any other writer's work and
giving proper credit when it is required. I learned that referring is one of the most
important tasks that must be completed in order for other writers' words to be
referenced throughout the material. I learned the abilities necessary for academic
writing, which will aid me in producing content that is both plagiarism-free and properly
referenced.
Week 8
Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to
develop these skills. Use a minimum of one academic source and reference this.
This journal should be formatively submitted for feedback, via ULearn, at the end of this week.
This week, I worked on developing presentation skills that will aid me in learning how

to make my information more attractive. Furthermore, I discovered that presentation is
one of the most important skills to perfect in academic life because it will benefit you in
your professional life as well. I can make the other end grasp the information I'm
attempting to transmit in the most efficient and effective way possible by using
presentation skills. I also learned that presentation skills can be improved by using
highlighted text or speeches where appropriate and focusing on the most important
elements and the overall point's conclusion (Li and Wong, 2019). This ability came in
handy during my university presentation exams, where I had to create presentations
on themes that were linked to my course in some way.
Week 9
Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to
develop these skills. Use a minimum of one academic source and reference this.
During this week, I studied the appropriate behaviour and abilities to use when
conducting an interview. I've learned that in an interview, a nice and clear message
should be communicated so that the interviewer can easily and clearly grasp the
responses. I've also learnt that anytime I apply for a job or give an interview at a
different company, I must first listen to the questions asked, then grasp the question,
and last provide a suitable response. Second, I've learnt how to create goals as an
individual and how to effectively follow through on them. I can improve these two
talents by doing things like making daily objectives and attempting to attain them, as
well as keeping track of whether they are met or not (Kaminskiene and DeUrraza,
2020). If my objectives are not met, I must determine why and take corrective action so
that I do not make the same error again. Second, to improve my interview skills, I must
practise in front of a dummy or ask a friend or acquaintance to act as an interviewer
and ask me questions about various job openings and my qualifications. I will also ask
them to rate me on my skills and ability to perform in an interview so that I can see
where I need to improve.
Week 10
Please describe in less than 200 words what was discussed in this session and how you plan to
develop these skills. Use a minimum of one academic source and reference this.
During this week, I learned about a few key employability skills and abilities that I will
need to begin my professional career. It is critical for me to examine some of the
abilities that aid me in my professional endeavours. I've learned that communication is
one of the most important skills to have in a professional career since it allows you to
analyse how you communicate with people in order to attain a common goal (Kurilova,
Kurilovas and Minkevičius, 2017). If I communicate effectively with my team members,
I will be aware of my responsibilities and will be able to clarify my doubts and
concerns, thereby assisting in the removal of major roadblocks to achieving the
organization's objectives. I also learned that courtesy is one of the most important skills
that would help me build a positive reputation at work and maintain my composure

even when under pressure. During this week, I also learned that one of the most
important skills is presentation, and I learned how to give speeches in front of my office
team and help them comprehend the topic.
Personal Development Plan
Part 1 – Personal Analysis
Strengths Areas for further development
Communication skill- I possess the
skill of effective communication
which helps me in developing good
interpersonal relations with people.
With the development of such type
of skill people around me are able to
understand what I am speaking
without getting confused.
Self-confidence- It is the belief in
myself which helps me to take my
own decisions independently. If I am
confident for my own work, then I do
not have to consult to other people.
Flexibility- I am adjustable with
every situation and surroundings
which is helpful to me in the present
time of mine and will also be helpful
in future also (Ho and et. al.,
2021).
Time management- I am not good
in managing my time in a proper
way which affects all the work that I
plan to complete in a day. This is
the skill which I have to develop in
me.
Organisation skill- Not being able
to manage my time creates the
problem of not making the proper
organisation of work. This is related
with not being able to complete the
task or to develop any learning.
Attention to detail- People who are
good in identifying every aspect
which will be important to them are
the one who are successful. But I
am not the person who puts
attention to each and everything
and because of which I am not good
in some areas.
Opportunities Threats
Creativity- Creativity is the skill
which I found to be most important
and will be helpful to me in selecting
the best opportunity. I consider that
learning and developing this skill will
help me to achieve success in
future.
Achieving long term goals- The
other will be to make the
achievement of all the goals which I
have planned to achieve it in future
time. This include to get the degree
and also to get a job which will be
helpful to me.
Digital literacy- It is also the
another skill which will help me in
achieving good heights in future in
any of my job role.
Challenges- Their will be
challenges which I have to face in
my daily life with which there are
chances that I might fail in some of
the challenge that might come in
front of me.
Increase in competition- This is
the another area which is rising on a
daily basis and which can make an
impact on me a to achieve success
in my life.

Part 2 - Setting goals
What do I want
to learn?
What do I have
to do?
How will I measure
success?
Target date for
review?
Time management To develop the skill
of time
management it is
important for me to
make a time table
which will be
helpful to me
allocating the time
according to the
task which I have
to do. This will also
give me the target
that I have to
complete my task
in this particular
time.
The measurement of
my time management
skill will be made on
the basis of the time
at which I will be able
to complete my task
(Santamaría
Lancho, 2021). I
have to identify that
which task is taking
how much time and
whether I am able to
complete the task on
time or not.
2 Months
Organisation skill For developing my
organisation skill, I
have to develop
some changes in
me so that I can
make the proper
organisation of
skill. To develop
the organisation
skill, I have to
make changes in
myself that
whichever work I
will do I will
complete it with
proper
organisation.
I will measure the
development of my
organisation skill
when the task which I
have to do will be
organised in an
effective way. The
measurement of the
organisation skill can
be done only when I
am complete the task
in an effective way.
3 Months
Attention to detail To develop this skill
of mine it is
important to me
that I have to start
thinking in a critical
way and with the
involvement of
considering
everything so that I
can make the use
of those things in
any of the situation
(Avenell, 2019).
The attention to detail
skill of mine will be
measured when I will
start thinking and
working in every
aspect. This can also
be measured only
when I will try to
understand
everything.

best way by which I
can make the
measurement of
whether I am able to

Part 3 – Personal Objectives
Short-term goals (next 12 months)
My short term goal is to build my morning routine so that I can do much of my
activities which I usually ignore.
To develop one skill which will be helpful to me in future time and that is especially
when I will be doing my job.
The other short term goal of mine is to get a certificate in some course which will
help me in my future time and will provide me the best job in the best organisation.
Medium term goals (next 2-3 years)
The medium term goal of mine is to identify the degree course which I have to take
and in which I have to pursue in future.
I have to develop a skill which will take the time of years but will be useful to me in
future.
I will also attend a personality development seminar which will be helpful to me.
Longer term goals (beyond 3 years)
I have to take the degree so that I can work in a well-established company of my
choice.
I have to learn a foreign language which will be useful to me if I have to set in
another country.
To gain good position in the workplace in which I will be working.
CONCLUSION
From the preceding discussion, it has been summarised that the several types of
learning are important as these skills learnt on the weekly basis and it will also help
to offer the suitable time to learn each and every skill and also get to know about
significant strengths and weaknesses of an individual. During the weeks, I learned
about personality traits and how they will help in developing the healthy professional
life. Further, I get to know regarding the self-reflection help me to analyse my
strengths and skills. Moreover, I also get to know that SWOT analysis and how it is

useful for the continue development in skills. I also know regarding the effective
writing skills and the concept of plagiarism and its types. Also, I learned regarding
the employability and presentation skills.
