For the present assignment, I have taken the “16 Personalities” test for the MBTI
assessment. The test comprises of questions which analyze reactions which are given to different
situations and encounters and how it influences personality (Archer & Smith, 2014). In 16
Personalities Tests, I responded to several questions based on different situations, habits, and
character behaviors. Based on these responses, the test has showed a score on aspects of
individual qualities, and then, the personality characteristics were assigned.
According to my test assessment, the assesment indicates that I am a good advisor which
is considered to be same as “The Consul”. It reveals that I have a personality which emanates
qualities of being famous, altruistic, assertive, and supportive of others (16personalities.com.,
2020). Explanation with detail of the test results is discussed further.
The 16 Personalities test describes that I have a 76 percent extraverted traits, The
assessments denotes that I am mostly agile and comfortable in social situations. I am aware that I
can interact with people quite easily. The score matches perceptions which I hold about myself,
as I believe that I am quite approachable and able to communicate with people effectively. For
example, while I was a student, I could interact and make friends easily unless there were
extreme dissimilarities between me and the other person concerned. Even though, I do not want
to emphasize on the fact, but I was a member of the student council committee in the school in
which I completed my schooling which helped me interact and engage in encounters with
different kind of people.
Furthermore, the outcome of the 16-Personality test revealed that I scored 69% for being
observant. This signifies that I look for rational details while trying to understand a situation

completely. It is a peculiarity that makes a person more aware and precise about the takeaways
one must have from a situation. Mindfulness helps a person to pay more attention to details and
be more efficient towards their work. However, concentrating on the details, one may tend to
unnecessarily become judgmental and critical about instances or even other people. I believe that
it accurately resembles my traits as I often become too observant and critical of ther people
which sometimes affects me emotionally.
Conversely, In the 16-personality test result outlined that I obtained 56% in feeling traits.
It can be interpreted as a sensible trait which is often dominated by my emotional resposnes. In
addition to that, it shows, a delineation because I believe that I am an emotional person who gets
affected by developments with which I am associated with. For example, after the completion of
my undergraduate degree, I joined an organization for an internship. During the peiod of three
months, I became very connected to the colleagues with whom I worked, although it was a
considerable short period. It was difficult for me to leave the place and move ahead. I realized
that in life, there would be several instances when I will grow attachment with people, but it is
essential to move on and allow progression in life, as it should follow.
The score for judging is 67% which is average and can be taken as an adequate score. It
means that the rationale what has been checked in category is the presence of judgment which
often allows a person to have the necessary understanding of themselves and others with whom,
they are associated with. From the score, it can be understood that my I am capable of judging
but there are ample of areas which can be bettered to become a person who has proper judgments
about the world and its ways (Ott & Michailova, 2008). This trait carries similarity to my nature
as I have noticed this phenomenon of misjudgment quite a few times in my life. I became
unsuccessful to judge numerous instances, which I instead should have done. It put me in

difficult circumstances. These could have been avoided with critical thinking and employment of
proper judgment.
Likewise, I received 67% score for having assertive traits in 16 personality test. It can be
interpreted that I am assertive to some. Nevertheless, this carries both, positive and negative
implications. A person may tend to be assertive to be expressive, in situations when it is vital to
get heard. On the contrary, assertiveness can sometimes be harmful when it does not allow the
coexistence of other ideas or opportunities to be acknowledged. Additionally, I tend to be a
assertive person, which have been pointed out by my colleagues which I have been working on,
to better myself.
The MBTI sixteen Personality assessment is a very efficient way to assess one’s strengths
and weaknesses. It points one’s personality traits that could be improved in order to fit a working
environment better. The test is constructive in understanding a person’s inspirations and motives,
as well as the worries and limitations which might come in the way of success (Rusu &
Avasilcăi, 2014). For instance, In a working environment, it is essential to interact,
communicate, and understand to meet the set principles and expectations of the organization.
With the help of the Sixteen-Personality assessment, employees will be able to understand their
areas of strengths and weaknesses and the qualities which are significantly essential to build
meaningful relationships with people to achieve specific goals.
The 16 personality assessment help people to understand their strength and weakness
about specific to their personality after one has answered the questions they are presented with,
in the form of a questionnaire. There are sixteen-character types, out of which the specific type is
determined based on the responses provided to the questions which are posed before the person

taking the test. The score reflect the strengths and weaknesses of the person, as shown in my
case. For example, In a working environment, one has to coordinate with others in order to
contribute to the growth of the company as well as realize personal goals (Bakker & Demerouti,
2014). It is essential to coordinate with the members of the team if tasks are delegated in a
manner, which requires coordination and collaboration. In addition, individual differences get
highlighted as they also become aware of themselves, which helps them accommodate the
differences in teamwork to achieve common goals (Furnham, 2014). A person can thus, identify
their strengths and weaknesses to work towards perfecting themselves to be able to become a
successful person.
Personality behaviors play an extremely significant role in determining how a person will
react or respond in a particular scenario. The result which I have received show that I am a
Consul which mean that I am agile and interactive.. Furthermore, it makes me a supportive
person, who is always attentive and empathetic towards people around them. Still, there is
adequate scope for improvement and betterment of the qualities which will help me become
successful and adaptable in working conditions. The test is a useful source to assess one’s
abilities, vulnerabilities and their responses towards the world and working environment, as well
as their personal life.
