Sociology is a study of the functioning and organization of societies and their major values,
institutions and groups. There are some fixed action and institution or collective social
circumstances given to an individual is known as Social structure. Individual activities are
backed by their family background, shared language, the distribution of activities and wealth all
of them are regarded as social structure circumstances which play a major role in the action of a
person. It thus provides a context, environment, or a fixed backdrop for the action. (Rapport,
N.2014) social structure is an unaltered circumstances for an individual. Social structure is one
thing a person can’t escape from but the adoption of these circumstances is depends on the
individual person characteristic and personality. Changes in social structure are very gradual and
arises due to changes in social routine. There are always willful efforts to reproduce or renew
them by an individual effort or collectively by groups of people. Social structure also gets
influenced by the inhabitants of geographical area.
Social institutions are basically formed by the ordered social life which is common to all the
societies. The Institutions are based of making person personality and behavior, person’s
priorities, point of view, courage to tackle the failure everything depends on institutions. The
basic aspects of institutions are highlighted that involve a definite regulation and ordering, these
regulations are backed by norms.

There are sphere of family, social class, race, religious affiliation, social honors and kinship,
which focuses on the regulation of biological relations between individuals and the member of
the new generation. Basically, the sphere of the educations and ethics of the family influences

the young into adults and helps in the transmission of cultural inheritance from the present
generation to future generation. Political parties also deal in controlling society institutions and
maintain the peace of society. Allocation, production, consumption and distribution of goods and
service regulated through the economic sphere (Isajiw, W. W. (2016). Sociology contains so
many terms structure is most common in them. In qualitative studies based on random samples
of an individual, structure are the most consistent and durable feature of all individual for their
outcomes. Sometimes attributes such as race, gender, and class are labeled structural to imply
that the underlying mechanism is an external force imposed on individuals independently of their
wills.
Social institution impact on the development of a person, family play a major role in making a
child a successful and strong person as a supportive family has also a positive impact on the
development of the child. During early childhood parent’s value, ethics, their attitudes can
passed to their child. Whether someone talk about healthy lifestyle, good habits, treating your
follower, elder can heavily influence by their parents. Basic skills, basic foundation which can
acquire throughout someone’s childhood are supported by their family majorly. Formation of
self-esteem starts from a person childhood a nurturing relationship with family makes child feels
safe and secure which is a critical part of healthy development of child well-being. Children
become more active in communicating socially, if their family has good connections in society.
On the other hand, Parenting have risk factor as well environment of domestic abuse, drug abuse,
poverty can leads to behavioral issues in children as young as 3, according to NCCP (Brown-
Lyons, M., & Robertson, A. 2001).
Likewise schooling of child play major role in development of a child. Exploration of
environment, reading, outdoor activities, practical knowledge, educational trips, cultural

delivery. When teachers involves with child in outdoor exploration, engaged in play activities
develop a strong sense of self in the child.
Religious behavior and religiosity are endogenous and could well be affected by economic
growth. Person ethics, culture and rituals influence person’s mind development, their religion
taught them how to behave, how to face failure, give respect to their parents, have faith in
themselves and consistency in hard work to achieve their goal.
Talking about instance for development, once a person failed in exam and took a second attempt
again, he couldn’t able to clear the exam and he continuously gives 4 attempts, But that person
doesn’t lose until unless he cleared it with distinction marks in that exam. Thus, his moral, mind
sets developed and make him believe that consistency in hard work can lead to success
eventually. So he never gives-up in the future and built as a strong personality.

Social class has an influence on individual personality and its development, students who are
working parents have greater influence on school performance rather than techniques like
bedtime stories. Seven-year-old children those parents are in professional and managerial jobs
were at least eight months ahead of pupils from the most socially disadvantaged homes, where
parents were often unemployed as showed by a study. Ethnicity and family size also influence
the child’s progress.
One of the most import part of sociology is the group, people, family and friends, we interact
with them regularly, shared our experiences, thoughts, perspectives towards something and
function together in their mutually agreed upon roles. All these groups are crucial to society and
are what most of individual will form in your own adult lives.

Both culture practices and religious norms have frequently individual forming the ideas toward
equality of gender. If children saw equality in both gender in their family they treat opposite
gender in the same way. Teaching respect towards opposite gender initiate from family only. The
equality values given to children is basically how you design your future generation mind sets.
Individual’s values form the lives. Individual personal values dictate how you act, react, respond
to, and handle any life situation that comes your way. They determine the direction of an
individual’s life, their goals and dictate the choices person make. Individual’s values play a
major role in relationships, career and other activities in which a person engages. But sometimes
person’s value from parents get affected by society and individual’s influence by dominant value
of society (Smith, E. R., Mackie, D. M., & Claypool, H. M. 2014). Values that person
internalized as the child remains till their adulthood. Our parents give us their values and guide
us from their experience getting first in class or winning a sport medals are part our values, never
give-up attitude. As a teachers values education most, a banker values money and businessmen
values profits, thus, each and every individual have different values, ethics and priority (Jackson,
C. 1996). For instance, suppose a student can get the question paper from a friend or some
outside source if student values are more important, he will not accept the question paper as he
know it is against his ethics and hinder his growth. A person should be smart enough to choose
between short-term benefits by giving-up his values or maintain their ethics and do hard-work.
Clearly, your personal values do impact and shape your life in every situation that exists. Even
an individual value changes as he grows up, sometimes in childhood individuals are more values
given to affections and relationships, but when a person grows-up career, growth, money become
more valuable.

Firstly, I want to grow as a good person, who have all his parent’s ethics, cultural values,
knowledge of my religion and I will able to adjust in any environment and atmosphere, respect
every person regardless of gender, caste , social background. I must able to set an example for
my next generation, able to pass-on my ethics, values, beliefs, experience and cultural values.
What I learned in my life is a never give-up, never say no to any task which comes in your life,
as we know every failure is a lesson and if someone never try he never succeed. Growing older
or succeed is not just about earning money, it is about development, development of personality,
mind, knowledge, value towards human being rather than materialistic goods.

Sociologically, I am also influenced by my society, social class, and religious social
environment. My institution play major role in shaping. My personality, teachers, guardians and
my friends I hang around with are crucial part in development of my personality. One thing is
clear in my minds human values, my ethics and gives priority to my family will always be my
first priority. Any short-cut to success or becoming rich will not achieved by losing my values.
