MANAGEMENT 1
The boss I worked for in the past was into the media industry and his job in the company was
of public relation officer where he was responsible for protecting the brand name of the
company and at the same time meeting with high-end clientele for promotion of the brand.
He was also into conducting various events that resulted in a high level of brand awareness
among the public. I would be analyzing my boss behaviour on the basis of the big five
personality dimensions.
Conscientiousness-
The trait is concerned with a high level of organized, focused, and consistent behaviour of an
individual in the industry. My boss who was the public relation officer had a high level of
conscientiousness where he kept all of the documents, deadlines, and meeting schedules
highly organized. He had a good memory of the information he had after meeting with
various clients. The trait of Conscientiousness is highly essential for the type of the industry
as the employees have to interact with high profile clients and organize meetings that have to
be conducted in time (Borghuis, 2016).
Emotional stability-
It is one of the important traits as it is helpful in facilitating an individual to surf easily in the
pressuring time. As a public relation officer of the media house, Boss portrayed the high-level
pf emotional stability as he was able to resolve the conflicts among the employees in an
effective manner. There was one instance when one of the high-profile candidates had a
conflict with the organizational behaviour where the client was dissatisfied and asking for a
refund. The boss handled with great ease without losing his temper. The trait of emotional
stability is highly important in the industry and the type of job position that was of public
marketing officer (Giluk, 2015).
Extraversion-
Extraversion is another important that is required for good interaction among the people. As a
public relation officer of the media house, he had a high level of extraversion in him where he
could interact with the people around in an effective manner. He had quite an extrovert
personality where he was able to achieve the best possible deals by communicating with the
people. The trait is highly useful in achieving the right ways of doing things. The
extraversion trait is highly important in the industry as an employee has to deal with various
clients.

MANAGEMENT 2
Openness to experience-
Openness to experience is another important trait for a manager to have as it results in better
management of the things (Vedel, 2016). As a public relation officer, my boss had the trait of
experiencing new things which made him highly creative in expressing himself in the best
possible manner. It is the highly required trait in the industry and the job position where it is
essential for the manager to have the experiences in getting things done.
Agreeableness-
Agreeableness is the trait that makes an individual a good leader where he is highly inviting
of the ideas of the people around (Giluk, 2015). As a public relation officer, my boss was
quite adamant that made him lose certain deals. There is an average level requirement of a
certain degree of agreeableness in the industry and job position.
