3.1 Different perspective on FGM relating to health and social
care
• There is the serious implication of FGM on the overall
health of a patient. As suggested by Coyne et al.
(2016), the operation involved in these procedures is a
risky one and it needs to be evaluated through for
involvement in the safety of the patient.
• The social and community healthcare organisation has
a major role to play in this scenario, as the community
healthcare organisation helps in spreading awareness
about the negative effect of FGM on the health.

3.1 Different perspective on FGM relating to health and
social care
• A high number of women are at the risk of getting FGM.
There are other associated health risks with the performance
of surgery for FGM. There has been intervention from the
government to minimise ill-effect of FGM on the health of
women (Gagliardi et al. 2015).
• The social service approach of the government can be taken
into consideration for making a holistic approach to crucial
issues in the community health care.

3.2 Different perspectives from reliable sources on FGM
that have changed over time
• The health professionals in the current age need to
evaluate multiple factors for improvement in a better
approach to specific social and health needs.
• The health care professionals need to be aware of
concerned changes in the global scenario of community
care, as it can contribute to the understanding of the
effective system.
• There have been multiple ranges of services for the health
sector that encompasses both mental and physical health
of the patient. The health care system in a few years back
was not as improved as it has been now.

3.2 Different perspectives from reliable sources on FGM
that have changed over time
• Quality care is one of the vital things that can be achieved
by the introduction of a variety of though the system in the
quality service area.
• According to McFarland and Wehbe-Alamah (2014),
management of safety and health issues in the medical
organisation can be evaluated through a particular approach
to the effective healthcare system.
• There has been changing knowledge base in the system of
healthcare among professionals in healthcare.

3.3 Relevance of the findings to health and social care
practice locally
• The findings have revealed that healthcare professionals
have gained sufficient knowledge in the healthcare
system.
• It is required for the organisation to implement
concerned policies to involve more stakeholder for
successful in the movement of the development of
primary health.
• The primary health care is considered to be the
backbone of the healthcare system, as this primary
healthcare system helps in the improvement of better
practices.

3.3 Relevance of the findings to health and social care
practice locally
• Perception of health in the global scenario is constantly
changing. A particular scenario in the global atmosphere is
generally dictated by progression in medical science.
• There has been a regular progression in the approach of
medical science that helps in the betterment of treatment.
An aspect of effective management of patients is another
area that assists in enhancement in the scope of healthcare
practice effectiveness (Lancaster and Stead, 2017).
• Mental healthcare issues in community care have been
discussed for spreading awareness in regard to the
elimination of mental diseases. Substance abuse has been
a curse for the society.

3.4 Factors influencing the development of different
perspectives over a period of time
• There are multiple factors are at work that influences the
effectiveness and perception of healthcare policies. These
factors have helped in the evolution of the healthcare system
over the decades.
• The factors are generally related to the patient, healthcare
provider, and also environmental factors.
• There is also the factor of health care providers such as
provider competency, facilities, resources and socio-
demographic variables of the patient (Kuyken et al. 2015).

3.4 Factors influencing the development of different
perspectives over a period of time
• Environmental factors include facilities, resources,
management, leadership partnership development,
collaboration and effective system of the healthcare.
• Socio-demographic factors are associated with
improvement in service qualities.
• It is essential for the providers of healthcare services to
ensure the integration of better system for increasing the
satisfaction of patients.
• A poor medical tariff cans a reason for the doctors to avoid
request of patients.
• The financial status of the patient in the present area can
be considered for improving a better system of testament.
