“A persuasive essay”
I have perceived that I am not enjoying my high school and I want to change it. Although my
parents are, open to my idea but they want me to list down core reasons such as academic and
social reasons. I lack basic knowledge of subjects, which is totally the responsibility of the
teachers (Brooks, 2015). Students must interact with others but our school has been becoming
highly technology addicted, which has removed the relevance of knowledge and intellectual.
Teachers have become lazy (Kroeger et al., 2019). The procedure is quite traditional based
especially top-down, read, heavy handed, quiet and there is a lot scope for innovation. Even
though, it uses technology to large extent, the school does not provide any additional
dominant certification. Competition based certification tests specific skills and the bundling
of the specific skills and personal skills becomes so difficult. Students in this school do not
have voice where they do not feel respected and healthier options. Current high school lacks
development, as it is one of the reason for the students to move to schools. Furthermore, the
children are forced to some social funnels. Unequal education has attributed to several
variables inclusive of family of origin, social class, gender, earnings, social class, health
status, political participation contributing to the educational inequality within US. Some of
the major changes include lack of healthier environment, lack of life skills classes,
compulsion on the study halls, non-discipline teaching, and stopping of standardised testing
(Brooks, 2015).
