SUBJECT: Application for asking permission to attend a meeting
I have been invited to be present in the board of United Way on the last Thursday of the
current month. The meeting will be conducted from 12 PM. To 2 PM.
The agenda of the meeting is to discuss about the funding of the duties that the company
perform to the society followed by a talk on the necessity of bringing changes in the policies
regarding Corporate Social Responsibility of the company. Being a board member, it is my
duty to attend the meeting to point out the loopholes in the CSR policies of the company and
suggest some changes so that the problem of funding does not arise further.
I will be extremely grateful to you, if you grant me the permission to attend the meeting and
assure me that you will assign another person for those two hours so that the operations can
be carried smoothly.
I am well aware of the duties of an operation manager like me, in this company so, I will
provide you the reports of the previous operations along with a power point presentation
consisting of all the key information regarding operation management, before I attend the

meeting. These will assist the person taking charge of my work to understand what needs to
be done.

We are obliged that our ex-student like you who is a proficient basketball coach of National
Basketball League of Canada now, visited our school during the annual sports 2018. First of

won CCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, U Sports Men’s Basketball championship
