Introduction
“From each according to his ability to each according to his needs” – Karl Marx (Bovens
& Lutz, A., 2018). What better way to express the exact sentiment of communism than those
very words? A man makes his particular contribution to the activities of the community
according to his capacity and is rewarded equally for his efforts. That is true equality. What we
see around us shapes our thoughts, and what we think guides our actions.
The fact is that our reality is a deterministic one, where free will and the illusion of
choice are a fallacy. For some of us are dealt an unfortunate hand at birth, and others were given
a head start, forced to play the game of life out, those gaps never accounted or compensated for.
Is this really the kind of society we want to live in comrades? A society where a child born into
wealth through pure coincidence throws away food whilst millions of our bothers starve. One
where a bourgeois old man who cons the many off their pennies is allowed the finest medical
procedures to prolong his inevitable death whilst the children of the workers, he scammed of
their fair share die out of lack of primary healthcare. A society where 1% of the population
control 70% of the nation’s wealth. The only solution to those issues is communism. Karl
Marx's theory presented communism as an economic system that satisfied the needs of all society
members without exploiting anyone. We need to give his theory a chance once more and try to
change the grim realities of everyday life around.
Marx’s slogan envisages a communist society that seeks to abolish as well as the systems
that uphold them to give all people a fair chance in the game of life. Right now, the weak and the
unfortunate grovel at the heels of the privileged hoping the crumbs trickle down, the bourgeoisie
sits high and mighty in their ivory towers, well fed and groomed, relishing the fruits of our labor.
The bourgeoisie, my comrades, are the cause of all your concerns. They will not cede their

positions of high stature willing to abet our cause for their interest lay to the contrary. I say rise
comrades and march with me for fair compensation for our work — March with me in the name
of equality. March with me for change, for the chains of capitalism that burdened us so, cannot
and will not keep us down any longer. Place your hope in communism that strives to satisfy
everyone’s needs, and as when nobody would be scarce in anything, there would be no reason
for envy. Look back, and you will find plenty of lessons in history that teach the dangers of
political control and mindless bureaucracy. Your individual excellence and personal freedom are
being trampled over. Do not let anyone stifle your freedom and take away the right of self-
expression.
Communist ideology may lie dormant, but it still exists, and all you need to do is give it
thought and power to rekindle it. People are equal, and it is only in a society ruled by the
powerful and rich that they get segregated in different classes and divided by economic
boundaries. Wake up and show your strength and unity to fight the inequalities you see around.
Marx was right as we are in the middle of a crisis because of the capitalistic demands of the
economic order. It is ironical that the crisis is happening right within the home of Marxist-
Leninism, the Soviet Union. Human freedom and human dignity are being denied to common
citizens. Speak your mind loudly and clearly and don’t draw in your horns but use them for self-
defense and attack. Develop those horns if you don’t have any as that goes well with Marxism.
The world needs a communist ideology more than ever before and repeat this marvel of history.
We are living in a dynamic society, and every citizen has a right to job, progress, and
economic instability. Only communism can build self-sufficient social communities, stronger
economy, and more importantly, a harmonious spirit. There would be no room for envy and
ambitions when the work, responsibility, and rewards would get shared equally with the efficient

distribution of resources. The world today is a paradise only for the rich, and communism is the
only route to make the world a much better place for a common man. Act, while there is still
time and apply Marxist principles to correct the society and let there be peace and harmony
because of equality.
