10 Own Cell Phones?’’
2. an outline or speaking notes
Specific purpose
The specific purpose of choosing this topic is to ensure that children and parents can know about
the impacts that a cell phone might have over them. Choosing to leave 10 or less than 10 year old
child with a cell phone for prolonged time period has both pros and cons. This is mainly because
of the fact that this will naturally make their child smart as they will learn to use the search
applications and also gain a good amount of knowledge1. However at the same time, parents and
family members must also see the negative impacts like that of addiction. This will make the
children suffer from addictions like too much time on online games.

Central idea
The central idea is to raise awareness among parents and the other entire family member so that
they are not leaving their infants with mobile phones for a long time. They will have to ensure
that even if they are leaving their children with cell phones they are always keeping a track on
them or there are some other family members to keep an eye on the children
Several main points
Prolonged usage of mobile phones but 10 years or less than 10 year old kids will hamper
their health in many ways
They might develop an addiction towards the inline games and this in turn can have a bad
impact over their studies
This is because children will be spending much more time over the online games and
they will not be willing to invest any time over their studies
This can also hamper the physical functions of the children as they will be sitting in the
same posture for a long time rather than going out for any activities. This is because they
will get more interest in playing games or in seeing some movies or videos online.

over the internet and other such aspects they might get some severe problems in their
eyes. Their eyes will get exposed to the screen and the harmful radiations that are coming
from the mobile screen
Therefore, parents and the other family members or elder siblings must always try to
teach the pros and the cons of using mobile phones even if they are allowing their
children to use cell phones for a very long time.
