Introduction
Hello everyone? Welcome, all to this important occasion. The topic of the day signs that
shows you are overspending as a youth whether in campus or at home. We are very grateful to
see you turning up in such a large number to hear the critical speech. Everyone has a pen and a
book to note down important issues that we are going to touch in this occasion. Thank you and
stay tuned for the topic.
Thesis
The topic of today, signs that show you are overspending a as a youth, have been
prepared to assist the youth in reflecting in the way they spend their money according to
Williams, (2015). After this topic, everyone will have an opportunity to evaluate themselves and
correct in areas they have been doing it wrong.
Main points
Youths may have various ways of generating income. However, the groups of teens who
are in college always get support from their parents. Consequently, the way you spend your
money will show you whether you are a responsible person or you need to change. Given that
people rake out living in a hard way you should always accountable for every coin that goes out
of your pocket according to Ariely & Kreisler, (2017). The following signs will show you that
you are not correctly spending your money: -
i. You do not have a budget
For the youths who are working every month, you have a certain amount of money
while youths in college are always supported by their parent with a certain amount of
cash at the beginning of the term. However, if an individual does not have a budget,

he or she ends up buying anything he is meeting on the way. Two weeks down the
line, you will have nothing to spend. You keep on regretting on why you bought
certain goods which you are of no value to you. The sellers are always persuasive,
and if you go shopping without having a list of goods you need, you may end up
buying as long as money in your pocket can accommodate.
ii. Peer pressure always influence you spending
We are all surrounded by friends who may be coming from a stable background than
us. These people buy more goods than we can manage in reference to Kudryavtsev,
Kramida & Osipov, (2016). However, we tend to be influenced by their behaviors
thus making us spend wrongly.
iii. You never save any little amount
Working youths are the once who are affected by the above point. If at the end of the
month you do not have even five percent of your earning for saving purposes, you are
heading in the wrong direction according to Thorson & Kranstuber Horstman, (2014).
iv. You mainly eat in hotels
Even though eating in a restaurant is a way to save time, it may be a way to show you
are overspending. For example, if you are a college student staying near the school,
instead of going for lunch your house you chose to head to hotels. Such behaviors are
a sign of overspending.
v. You enter in life you cannot maintain.
In this case, it is a spending habit. For example, you are spending on clothes you will
not maintain the level, or you are going out to expensive restaurants.

In conclusion, everyone here should reflect on his or her spending behavior. If you have
one of the above characteristics, you need to change. Adapt life that will sustain out for a long
time. However, if it is a matter of your company, be ready to turn your friends to realize your
dreams.
