Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) is an international
development charity.
The mission of VSO is to help the people to fight poverty.

Political factors
 As different government will have different attitude
towards charities so the political factors will affect VSO
greatly.
 The VSO will be affected by Brexit as according to new
framework they need volunteers to work abroad.

Economic factors
• As the UK is going through recessions so in case of
VSO it is more complex to discover adequate funding.
• To take care of people VSO need funding but the taxes
will increase and exchange rate will become worse as the
austerity will bring currency down.

Technological factors
 As it requires adequate support form the volunteers so this
organization need to have upto date technology.
 To carry out work efficiently the workers might need to
access reliable internet connection in remote areas.

Environment factor
• The clean environment and sanitation is an extremely
important factors for the VSO.
• The organization will try to secure its volunteers form
different infections .
• The Water Aid will be used in order to provide sanitize
water

Legal factors
• The current legislation need to be understand by the
volunteers of VSO as they will learn to conduct them selves
from these laws.
• For an instance the health and safety act will help the
organization to use correct equipment so reduce the risks of
malaria,fever etc at workplace.

Social factor
 The culture shock can be received by the volunteers of VSO
when they travel to abroad as they get along with different
cultures.
 For an instance in Asian counties the toilet paper is not used
for washing private parts as ot is not considered as hygienic
activity.
 Such things can be horrifying for the volunteers
