One of the most striking industry for foreign investors as well as business
entrepreneurs is education industry in Australia. The country’s development has made
availability of necessary resources for schools and universities to a great extent that attracts
business enterprises to invest in educational sector over there. The increase in number of
students every year is also remarkable that shows potentiality in Australian market towards
higher education. Currently, Australia employs more than 132,000 people that also makes
education industry a strong employment sector in Australia ( Doherty, Steel, & Parrish,
2012). Since the education industry seems booming in Australian region where investors are
getting highly motivated to pour in, PESTLE analysis will prove to be the best business
model that will assist in getting knowledge about education industry from Australia point of
view.

Political: The Australian government has opened the entry for foreign investors to invest in
private universities and schools to ensure that the quality of education is not compromised.
Although the political situation of the country seems challenging as the country has numerous

level of officialdom, the foreign companies seems diving in. But, the companies need to settle
down all the formalities with Australian government and prove that they will provide more
benefits than the existing higher education systems in universities (Akareem & Hossain,

Economic: Australia is a developed country where the economy of the country is growing in
a fair manner that makes the economic condition of the country very conductive for new
investors. Micro factors like employment and supply chain network are also favourable that

Social: Social analysis is also made by business owners before entering into a new market as
it provides assistance in shaping the product along with formulating development strategies
and international business marketing plans. The psychographics and demographics of
Australia favours to get well educated which motivates establishing new and enhanced

Technology: Australian students are more inclined towards new-fangled technology. They
are more attracted towards advanced and technical versions of educational resources. With

Legal: Before entering into a new market or making plans, the investors need to monitor the
legal requirements of the industry. Legal issues like following prescribed syllabus, university
registration, superior faculty, etc. needs to be studied carefully by the universities and schools
as similar course of education cannot be used throughout the globe. The study course as well
