PERSONAL STATEMENT
Pharmacy as a profession is very much respected and holds huge potentials across the
globe. The advancement in this field of research which insists on blending science with health
care, direct patient contact and computer technology holds potentials to offer diverse range of
learning opportunities to the aspirants. Therefore I definitely look forward to pursue pharmacy as
my future career option. Moreover every job we do must somehow or the other contribute to the
larger section of the society and when it is about Pharmacy, we can easily understand how
significant it stands in the purview of improving the overall living condition of the people.
The presence of job satisfaction is very immensely high in this filed which I did realize during
my volunteering at numerous pharmacies in hospitals and private care business, because you
hold the power to save a life and improve the health of individuals who might have already lost
the battle in their head. Thus this filed of occupation does hold the potential to serve the
community at large. The next big attraction could be the competitive learning potentials the
occupation offers. Due to immensely high demand of workers in the healthcare industry there are
ample amount of lucrative job opportunities which offer practical learning experience under
senior guidance.
I specifically aim to go for Hospital Pharmacy where I would work in close
coordination with doctors and nurses and would be directly associated with patient care
responsibilities. This would not only give me the required information and knowledge about this
profession but would equally assist me in having a real hand on experience of how patient care
activities take place I personally believe Pharmacy as a profession is strongly based on a strict
code of professional ethics and all individuals associated with this profession need to be fully
aware of their crucial role and how much significance their decisions have on the lives of people
