PHILOSOPHY 2
1. Clearly specify which audios and videos you have chosen to write about.
The first video is on self-sabotage; the second is on lottery life. However, the first audio is in
school life and the second audio is one is talking about reluctant people in the society.
2. In your own words, discuss and critically analyze the major points in each of the audio and
video.
The first video on self-sabotage addresses people’s behaviors and how they affect their goals in
life. The main self-sabotaging factor that the video is discussing is happiness. Everybody wants
happiness in life. They end up in relationships to make them happy. However, there are
behaviors that are destructive in life. One may end up drinking too much thus interfering with
some of his or her goals in life like promotion in the work place. On the other side, people
around us also get disappointed with our behaviors according to the video in reference to Chi,
Chang & Huang, (2015). In relationships, one may walk out of the relationship because of self-
sabotaging behaviors. The second video is on lottery life; it addresses the issue where people are
always hoping for a better life through participation in the lottery activities according to Cho &
Shim, (2017). In many countries, people are worried of money and they keep on trying their
chance on the lottery to win millions of shillings that the lottery people post.
Consequently, the community do not sympathize with people who end up losing in these lottery
activities. The worst thing is the current society according to the video is that many marriages
have broken up due to love of money. The video also touches at important lottery life which is
work and love. People try to find quality work and significant relationships. People need

recognition whether in work or relationships. Despite working hard to achieve the two factors, it
may end up not, ideal.
On the other hand, the first audio elaborates how school life is unfriendly. The teachers force
children to be perfect in their life not considering that they have different capability. The second
audio develops on a community where there is the injustice, but the members are not reacting.
One member of the society insist that people should be reluctant in their houses but to come out
and speak.
3. In your own words, give at least two detailed examples accompanied with detailed
explanations as to how they relate to society.
The first video relates to the society in that, the idea of gaining more wealth is what determines
one’s contribution to society. Many people are striving to invest more money in lottery game
with the hope of having a better life. The people who have low standards in society are stressed
every day on how to get more money. On the matter of self-sabotage, some behaviors have
interfered with people’s goals in society. Some people get jobs but start drinking. Everybody
should control his or her responses in line with the destiny. Apart from that, the audios relate to
the society in that people do not speak on the serious matter due to fear of victimization
according to Sriram, Morgan, Graham, Folta & Seguin, (2018). It should be important that for
people with the capability to assist others to save the society.
4. In your own words, give at least two detailed examples accompanied with detailed
explanations as to how they relate to your personal life.
In personal life, there exist pressure to achieve the same goals the friends have accomplished in
life. In that relation, you may engage in lottery hoping that you will win more money to solve the

situation but loosing. Secondly, in my personal life the matter of relationship breaks up is due to
self-sabotaging behaviors. For instance, drinking and smoking are dangerous behaviors that the
partner may not tolerate.
5. How, in your opinion, can the ideas discussed in the audios and videos be pragmatically and
realistically implemented in society?
The videos and the audios have addressed essential matters in the society such as self-sabotage
and lottery life. However, to practically correct such issues in the community, it is crucial to
creating awareness people. It is not right to strain for good life as may end up losing whatever he
or she has through the lottery. The behaviors that people incorporate in their life may end up
diverting their goals. Therefore, the learned people in society should teach the uneducated people
on the matter.
6. What steps are necessary and how do you create or make those steps available so that those
ideas can in a very practical way be implemented in society. Make sure you map out the steps in
order.
The first step is to realize that there are severe issues in the society such as self-disrespect and
lottery in the community require people to address. The second step is to identify the media to
address such problems. For example, society can make use of agencies or educated people to
pass the knowledge. Lastly, it is essential to follow the affected individuals in society to ensure
they change from past behaviors.

PHILOSOPHY 5
There are ideas in the audios and videos that may be practical in personal life while others are
not. For instance, the concept of self-sabotaging is applicable because it affects individual lives.
However, the idea in the audio that needs everyone to react to keep the society going in right
direction needs everyone in the community.
8. What steps are necessary and how do you create or make those steps available so that those
ideas can in a very practical way be implemented in your own personal life. Make sure you map
out the steps in order.
In personal life, the first step is examining myself to identify issues that video touches
concerning personal life. After the review, I may be having self-sabotaging behaviors such as
drinking too much in reference to Hegel, (2015). I need to examine and know how I can get rid
of the practice of self-disrespec. The next step is to have someone who will try to be accountable
for me. For instance, reminding me of what I should do about the topics in the videos and the
audios.
