Philosophy statement
The philosophy related to the development for children in contemporary early childhood
settings. It means target the children at the time of preschool education. In order to encourage
children to learn and grow by providing the foundation of development appropriate on the basis
of experience where all children can be succeed in a safe and nurturing environment.
I believe that every children have a unique identity and ability to learn something new. By
using contemporary early education program will provide the support to children where they can
adapt multiple styles. At some point, I believe children learn best through meaningful play. It
reflects on the child centered program and integrated with physical, cognitive, social, emotional
and aesthetic areas for development.
Part A
Overall beliefs and values
Teaching practices are all about the way in which represent specific time intervals that
children spends teaching at school as part of his or her training. On the basis of philosophical
views, the core belief and values that always inform teacher in being outstanding leader at the
time of learning session.
Integrity- it is one of the essential part for teacher to be honest with his job role and
responsibility. Children’s must need to follow what teacher does and reflect on them. it should be
careful about ability and commitment of children towards learning session (Bakken, Brown &
Downing, 2017). Once a teacher can find that children is not sticking to his or her words. it
should start to give best practices and make sure that every children’s participants into different
learning session.
Sense of hop for children- teacher must have always possess an actual sense of hope
where every children can participate into different activities. In this way, it become easier for
identifying strength and weakness of children. At certain point, the major responsibility for
teacher to encourage children where they can stick with possibility of academic session. It will
help to improve the learning style and develop a confidence level of children’s.

Sense of urgency- it is something to be done with accurately, just need to go for it with
understanding a feeling of children. This kind of core value and belief is not just something
meaningful but it is important to come with suitable lesson plans, provide the better learning
session for children at early stage.
Continuous self-learning- it was thinking, teachers are focused on the children education
learning which means that encourage towards self-learning. in order to provide various options
such as advance technology. It may be helped the children where they can learn something
innovative and also improved their ability, skills.
Image of the child
According to the image of child, it has been identified that children plays a game through
equipment’s. These are not only providing the better enjoyment but it may be supported to learn
something new. On the basis of experience, it has been analysed the role of children into
different learning activities with the help of playing games (Bento & Dias, 2017). Being a
teacher or instructor, it is important aspect in order to fulfil all essential need or requirement for
children’s through early childhood settings.
The role of children towards learning sessions are mainly depending on the certain
condition of children ability or capability. According to the need of children, it may be changed
efficiently and efficiently. But the contemporary practice is all about the traditional arts and
primary aimed to represent reality of realism through narrative. Contemporary is mainly focused
on the society or community, which is always reflects on the technique, materials and also
inspire children’s towards learning or development.
At the time of children learning, it is an important aspect to create a dynamic
environment which become consider a factor in order to provide clear goals, feedback and
opportunities for children, where they can easily build a social skills, strategies help children’s in
both success or failure. During classroom environment, the role of children helps to improve
attention, reduce anxiety and support both emotional as well as behavioural perspectives. In case,

if an instructor foster a positive learning culture, children’s are likely to acquire high level of
motivation that lead to wonderful learning result or outcome.
View of educator
In context of contemporary ECE settings, educator plays important role in order to
engage with children through different activities. The primary role of educator is to understand
cognitive, social, emotional and language benefits of plays. Therefore, it can be recognised the
specific need for children’s regarding early childhood education. Many educators have
developed believe on the importance of play during critical period of brain growth at the time of
pre-school.
Educator will support to implement different kind of development practices which means
that possibilities from assisting problem solving, undesired behaviours, questioning. In most of
cases, educator will teach a child where they can find the solution of problem through self-
evaluation (Burchinal, 2018). This kind of possibilities are developed due to the role of educator
where they can enhance learning opportunity for children’s and setting a contemporary learning
approach.
For purpose of childhood early education, it has been included the different approaches in
order to give a major support for children’s. Usually, it has been selected the behavioural
approach which may provide idea, belief and assumption of learners respond to the stimuli in
their environment. The role of educator is mainly focused on the relevant and useful stimuli so
that children respond properly and gains more knowledge or experience.
In order to use behavioural approach by educator to identify the belief, nature, attitude and
behaviour of children towards learning session. Being an educator, it will provide the positive
feedback encourages and reinforces success while negative feedback. In this way, it can provide
the immediate correction discourages the repetition of mistake and undesirable behaviour.

Theoretical influence
Theoretical perspectives can be explained thoughts of as well-developed position about
some aspect of education learning phenomenon. Behaviorism is one of the most important
theoretical aspect in order to demonstrate with understanding of complex nature of educating a
young children.
As per consideration of behaviorism, it provide right direction in regards of individual
changes, observable behaviors. An educator was concerned about children ability and pay more
attention towards thoughts. It may have been desirable at that moment. Each and every behavior
of children’s are different so that it is difficult for educator to fulfill all essential requirements of
everyone. At the time of learning session, it is focused on behavior of young children which is
necessarily and provide the importance of learning. If an educators are teaching, it will need to
attend all forms of learning whether inner or outward.
In classroom, the behavior of young children plays important role towards learning
process. It may support to establish a strong relationship between particular actions by a children
and immediate precursors, consequences of the actions (McClure & et.al., 2017). But at some
point, it is less useful for understanding changes in children’s thinking: for this purpose, educator
need to use cognitive theoretical approach. In fact, it is not criticism of behavior perspective but
it just clarifying the current strength of young children. On the basis of cognitive theory,
educator will be highlighted observable relationship among different actions, consequences.
Social constructivism is another kind of theoretical approach in order to represent the
early expression of young children. This is useful for convincing the young children where they
could easily learn more than traditional things as long as they were gained more guidance. This
kind of approach is not only acquire intellectual aspect of children at the phase of development.
Sometimes, it would be considered the best learning facilitates for young children where they
can easily understand the need of learning or education.

On the basis of discussion, it has been identified the importance of theoretical approaches
such as social constructivism, behaviorism and cognitive. The reason for using these different
theoretical approach which means that provide a better understanding for educator, where they
can use theories in learning while resolving any complex queries of young children at
immediately.
Curriculum and pedagogy
Curriculum or content of teaching may be designed to encourage or motivate the learning
processes. It pay more attention towards cognitive skills and acquisition of particular
information. Educator will use a proper sequential curriculum in order to setup a materials,
courses for purpose of teaching to the children during classroom session. On the other hand,
Pedagogy, which might be thought of as cognitive socialization, refers to the significant role of
teacher in early childhood settings such as teaching strategies, curricular emphases and
expectations.
An instructor has been settings an intellectual framework of idea about pedagogy,
suppose a coherence & deliberateness in teaching practices. In most of cases, educator will use
an early childhood curriculum strategy in order to provide the best quality of education services
(Samuelsson & Park, 2017). An efficient curriculum strategy is basically depends upon the well-
organized learning program in order to promotes children’s active, in dependent observation and
exploration of concrete materials. These are helping to develop a concept or skill and gains more
knowledge.
In context of Pedagogy, The communicative strategies are commonly used in order to
review the children learning result or outcome. Further, educator will give a proper feedback and
attention towards education. The effectiveness of communicative strategy which means explore
pedagogy as contribute into children thinking, include their knowledge in the form of content
and pedagogical knowledge. These kind of practices are directly impacts on the children’s
outcome, with focus on the particular subject. Moreover, it can be developed a community of

practice with the help of collaboration and reflect on the strength and weakness of children at the
time of learning program.
In context of curriculum, an educator will use teaching strategy for summative and
formative assessment. Teacher can be used this approach in relation to the curriculum. This will
help for establishing a strong understand towards learning activities and also developed
relationship to curriculum. Young children can learn something new and fill their all gaps.
Yes, The philosophy of learning and development for children in contemporary early
childhood settings. This kind of philosophy has been examined the goals, forms, methods and
meaning of education (Taylor & Boyer, 2020). The core belief and value of Curriculum is all
about knowledge and skills which may be acquired by children’s at the time of learning
activities. For example- schooling should be focused on practical, preparing children to become
valuable part of society. Pedagogy helps to comprise an extensive range of ideas, interest and
questions combined with education and psychology behavior of education in proper manner.
Considerations for learning environment
Learning environment is basically referred to the diverse physical location, cultural,
tradition and context in which young children learn something innovative (Yang & Li, 2020). In
another words, there is single optimum learning environment which has shown infinite
possibilities of learning environment, makes teaching as so much interesting for children’s.
Before giving a proper learning environment for children, where it is important to
structure or format. This is not only giving the direction of educator in context of teaching. Here
are explain the different phases in order to create a proper learning environment:-

Yes, it is true that follows a proper phases help to create an interactive structure. In order
to support in learning environment. The primary reason is to use a suitable learning environment
because of inspiring or motivating young children towards learning activities. The purpose of
learning environment helps improve attention, reduce anxiety and also create emotional as well
as behavioral regulation of children.
On the other hand, an effective learning environment will support both curriculum and
pedagogy, which means that influence an ability of children learning, likeness to the quality of
curriculum. It enhance children ability to learn and improve their sense of learning in different
aspects.
