1. Introduction and background
The focus is on PHL construction company that mainly have the main to increase both
the marketing services as well as customer service. This will further be helpful as it acts as one
of the multi-tiered approach that helps in winning different new clients and generally captures
additional market share. In order to achieve the goals, the organization wants to redevelop the
present website. The mainly purpose for redeveloping the project is to successfully built a new
website that is mainly rich in contents and the different types of contents include information
about the client testimonials, network platform, building developments as well as different types
of user-friendly interface for clients. The developed website must be able to work properly with
the various clients in order to successfully develop proper tailored construction related solutions.
In addition to this, the website must also help in facilitating the delivery of much more timely
feedback with the prospective clients for successfully improving interaction with the customers
of the company. It is found that as the construction company has no internal IT department
therefore it is quite necessary to design, test, implement as well as other work should be
outsourced. The project scope must include proper planning, execution, implementation as well
as training will not be included within the internal intranet site.
It is found that after analyzing the case study, proper statement of work (SOW) needs to
be prepared that must include information about the scope of the project as well as work
requirements which. In addition to this, a detailed schedule as well as pricing needs to be

Planning phase: In this phase of the project, proper arrangement for the staff meeting is
made so that the higher authority of the organization including the team members of the project
can be capable of illustrating the significance of website redevelopment. Proper proposal for the

project is developed that contains information about the website and its importance for PHL
company. After the development of proposal, the project managers need to sign an agreement.
Additionally, the staffs who are required for the project are hired and then the statement of work
document is released. Moreover, the contractors who are required for the project are selected in

Website design and definition: In the design and definition phase of the project, it is
quite necessary to collect different kinds of ideas about the project for analyzing it importance
for the company and determining how the problems of the company get resolved. The present
design of the website is revised and then the budget for the project is analyzed in order to analyze
the budget that is mainly needed for the project. Moreover, a detailed proposal for the project
website is developed.
Project implementation phase: In this particular phase, prototype as well as database
for storing the information and details of the website are mainly stored. It is found that the code
that is validated for the website is checked and then cross0browser testing is mainly needed. In
addition to this, proper as well as successful optimization is done and then proper navigation

The acceptable criteria based on which PHL will accept the project of website
