My opinion about plagiarism
As per my view point, plagiarism is a process of taking other’s ideas and words as well as
pretending that they are their own. It can also be defined as intentional act which are trying to
mislead by submitting a content which is not your own. These kind of practices are conducted to
avoiding self-working practices by using someone else works. According to me these are
unethical practices because plagiarized document can be written by someone else for their
academic practices. For this it is required for individual to implement paraphrasing practices in
order to create a proper content in effective manner. In my opinion, plagiarism refers to those
practices in which some one in copying others work and idea as well as passing them as their
own. This is considered as a dishonesty towards work assigned to a person and I am very against
to plagiarism. For me it is very important to present my own idea and work which is assigned to
me. I considered plagiarism as a act of fraud as it involve stealing of other work. I have identified
that there are different types of plagiarism such as source based, direct, self plagiarism,
paraphrasing, inaccurate authorship, mosaic as well as accidental plagiarism. I have analysed
that plagiarism have some serious consequences which can affect the whole work as well as their
reputation. It will destroy student reputation as well as destroy professional reputation.
