TASK 4
Data Analysis
Theme 1: Amusement park will be recreation point for people of Malta.
According to author, project plan for amusement park is the most beneficial plan as it will
assist in seeking attention of kids which helps in maintaining profitability and success of
business (Henry, Water Ride Concepts Inc. 2011). The theme park will help the planners in
promoting historical beliefs' ad cultural aiming people by demonstrating them through activities,
gaming tools and antiques. In addition, the author believes that amusement park is the most
attractive and creative strategy it is itself a tourist attraction. Thus, it will be recreational point for
the people of Malta as it will comprise all the mandatory requirement which will make attractive
especially for kids.
Theme 2: Kids entertainment and tourist attraction are the benefits of amusement park.
9
Document Page
According to scholar, seeking tourist attraction and kids entertainment is the major
benefit of amusement park as it is focused on adventurous activities and promotion of historic
cultures and beliefs (Balloffet, Courvoisier and Lagier, 2014). Tourist visit different regions to
explore different culture and their beliefs and therefore amusement park will be focused on
rebuilding historic tools and paints which reflects ancient people and their beliefs. However,
adventurers gaming tools and machines will help planners in enabling kids a playful environment
which denotes effectiveness of plan at it is near Malta Business School.
Theme 3: Increasing participation of kids in outdoor activities is the good cause of
amusement park.
As per the views of authors increasing participation of kids in outdoor activities is the
good cause which is related to amusement park (Vieyra and Vieyra, 2014). Apparently, attracting
kids of Malta Business School is the foremost priority of project planners because it will help in
managing successful project plan.
Findings and outcomes of project
Every project outcomes are based upon its planning, organising and implementation of
activities. This shows that what will be the outcomes of project (Agyeman, and Platt, 2016) If all
these functions are performed effectively it will lead to completion of project in given time. The
outcome of our project was very effective. It was due to proper planning and implementation of
operations. In this ever member gave their best efforts. Also, risk assessment was done to
identify risk involved and alternative strategies was developed to minimise that risk. The
activities performed was according to schedule made. It gave positive results. On the basis of
these results team developed goals (Habók, and Nagy, 2016). These goals were attained in time
that was given. Activities were organised in such a way that it reduced time of next activity.
We completed planning and organising of activities in one month. This helped us to focus
on next thing that was finding out sources of funds. It almost took 2 months for team to start
project. After that we hired skilled and unskilled employees and allotted in various department.
This was very time consuming and costly process (Parihar, , Bhar,. and Srivastava, , 2015) It
took 3 months in hiring and assigning task to employees. In this way the whole project was
completed in given deadline.

TASK 5
Personal Reflection
While executing the entire project from initial stage till completion stage I analysed that
my team worked very well and we were able to complete the project in given time. I managed
and allocated work to team members according to their skills and abilities. I found that each
member were highly focused on their roles and responsibilities and they performed accordingly.
Along with this, I found that time management was effectively followed by each team member
that lead to completion of project time. I gave my best in planning and organising activities. This
helped me to increase my knowledge and skills. There came a time in which I was not able to
take quick decisions, this affected my performance. I was not able to find out solutions of
problems whenever there was conflict between my team members. This affected overall team
working and delayed the next activity that was to be performed. I communicated with business
analyst so that it helped me to know what legal formularities have been completed so that
planning of next activity can be done. Also, approached to officers to ensure there is no issues
regarding environment or people. Moreover, I monitored team' s performance to ensure work is
going in smooth way.
I observed that my as a project manager my performance was not so good. It was due to
lack of experience in projects. So I was not able to take appropriate decisions on time. This
affected my efficiency and project quality. I was not able to maintain that quality which team
decided. I came to a result that I was lacking skills and knowledge that is required in project
manager. So I need further improvements in this.
Reflection on team performance
The overall performance of team was very good. This was because of proper allotment of
tasks and duties. This helped us to achieve set goals and objective on time. Each member set
goals that they have to achieve. This lead to integrating individual efforts to complete the project.
A proper communication structure was established that helped member to communicate
effectively. Due to continuous coordination among them problems and issues were quickly
solved. It also lead to smooth flow of operations.
I analysed that there was certain conflicts in team regarding work. This was because of
shortage of labour. This was due to project sponsor as he did not perform his responsibility.

Also, he did not accept his mistake. This affected project operation and it delayed the next
activities. So for recovering that mistake I made changes in some roles. I took responsibility of
recruiting labour. So I hired extra labour to complete task on time. This helped team to maintain
that speed. They also worked overtime to ensure timely completion of project. It was beneficial
for me to encourage them. With this we were able to complete project on time.
Further, if we have put some more efforts than project quality must have be better. Thus,
team members were lacking confidence. Due to this they were not able to perform effectively.
Also, feedback given by stakeholders shows that in certain areas like human resource and
operations more efforts was required. Due to this operations was not going smoothly and it lead
to delay in other activities. So I came to a result that overall team performance was average and
it could have been improved further.
Recommendation for future improvements
In accordance present project plan it can be recommended that it is important for team to
coordinate with each other with regards to activities like in this the work distribution is
completely segregated and have no link to each other. However, it is good plan but on the other
hand when working in team it is important for the project planners to coordinate with each others
work in order to analyse drawbacks and shortcomings of project. In addition, it can be
recommended that the f\planners can also focus on collecting information from primary sources
through survey as it is the best way to evaluate current conditions and views of local
communities over the plan of opening of amusement park.
