INTRODUCTION
In current time career planning is one of the crucial aspect which is required to
undertaken by individual in order to develop their own capabilities. This is a helpful concept in
dealing with career planning in strategic manner so that career desires can be accomplished in
future time with self sufficiency (Gershon, 2017). On the other hand, employability is defined as
the capabilities of an individual to get primal employment and manager this in way similar
manner. In this reference the given assignment is focusing over various activities those are made
by an individual in order to get succeed and to develop capabilities. This report also involves,
significance of social media and LinkedIn for promoting oneself in order to make effective
network.

The operational work within private industry requires high amount of knowledge and
basic idea for an individual those are willing to join that organisation. This involves different
activities those are helpful for me to manage task within organisation in proper manner. Besides
this, information are gathered for some certain field and these are essential for managing
professional skills in such a way that survival within organisation can be easier. In initial time
various information are being gathered and professional skills were developed so that effective
and formal relationship can be created with employees. This is requisite to clarify my
expectations of salary, bonus, incentives and other elements which are visible within an
organisation. Expectations are based on criteria which I am willing to attain.
Besides this, I feel that this is requisite to maintain separate time in scheduled manner
which should be different so that life balance can be made by me. This is essential that to
manage personal and professional life in such a way that balance can be created so that life may
be spend in easy manner. Similarly, this is significant to put prominent amount of efforts in
generating effective ideas by which overall performance can be improved day by day (Webb and
Chaffer, 2016).

promote yourself and network
Social media is defined as the online platform through which new concepts can be
developed and connectivity can be enhanced. This is helpful in evaluating new concepts and in
gathering ideas as according to needs. On the other hand numerous social media platform are
there such as Facebook, Instagram and many more. These are helpful in order to make effective
profile and enhance educational experience through which better job opportunities can be
attained. In the context of developing own website, social media is playing effective role through
which business can be promoted in online platform along with gathering high level of
prominence. Social media is a tool which provides new and innovative ideas through which I am
able to get assistance regarding initiating my career as a sales manager. (Hair, Page and
Brunsveld, 2019).
Besides this, LinkedIn is one of the renowned social media platform which is highly
helpful for individual to find out job opportunities as according to their qualifications. Within
this required job position can be find and opportunities with better salary package can be inhaled.
Recruiters and human resource personnel of an organisation have high presence over LinkedIn as
they are performing role of short-listing people according to their needs and job role. LinkedIn
has played prominent role in enhancing my skills as this provides endorsements and testimonials.
This is advantageous to initiate potential business connection for an HR professional that to
manage individual within business in effective manner.

Skill audit questionnaire is defined as a effectual technique which can be used in order to
recognise knowledge gaps so that the same can be improvised. This is associated with measures
which can be used in making questions related to performance and evaluating knowledge and
knowledge gap within performance (Murphy, 2016). However, questionnaire which is asked by
employer is consisting of questions which are related to their academic and their achievements so
the answer provided by candidate is reflecting their knowledge and command over their subject
and field. This also provides assistance in recognising knowledge gaps which is faced by
individuals so that the same can be eliminated and personal strength can be enhanced.

The interviewer is required to put additional investigation so that real problems and
issues can be identified in order to attain prominent outcomes. This is associated with
recognising actual requirement of the industry through which reasons for enhancement of
productivity can be examined. In my industry innovation is one of the essential term and for
enhancing capabilities of the company advanced technologies are required. This enables the
company to enhance its quality by which customer experience can be met. These efforts are
favourable in meeting expected goodwill of the organisation which may lead to intensifying
profitability of the business as well.

Evaluation of own strengths and weaknesses is one of the essential process which is
requisite to be done in order to recognise inabilities and to enhance skills in such a way that

management are the skills in which I have proper command and these enables me to manage
communication with colleagues and to attain better outcomes as well. On the contrary I have few
weaknesses such as poor decision making and insufficient problem solving skills through which
I am not able to solve proposed conflicts. I have capability to work within operational
department but at the same time I need to be supervised by senior so that to enhance my decision
making skills.
CONCLUSION
From the above report this can be concluded that for an individual this is essential that to
examine own abilities and capabilities so that professional standards can be attained in effective
manner. These practices are helpful for an individual to attain goals and objectives in well
defined manner and in other way efforts can be enhanced which are drawing positive implication
over amplifying personal capabilities.
