Planning career is long termed process, it includes various important decision in building
an career. Career planning means choosing right field at right time and preparing for
employment in various field related industries (Bohmova, 2016). Career and self assessment is
very important for every student, they need to identify their inner knowledge and skills.

Role of LinkedIn and website in promoting myself:
LinkedIn is one of the largest professional platform that helps in applying and hiring of
talent. It helps to create professional image of oneself and useful to grab job opportunities. The
company and employees both use these platform in hiring talent. LinkedIn helped me in finding
right job after my graduation (Koch, Gerber and De Klerk, 2018.). I have created my own
personal websites which highlights my knowledge and skills, but building website on LinkedIn is
much easier. This platform help to write powerful summary about myself. After creating
personal website and profile on LinkedIn, I now have opportunities to explore pool of jobs, as I

Help to find suitable company: I prefer LinkedIn can be a tool to find right suitable company,
this is a beneficial way to plan and decide in which company one have to work by started
following their employee you get idea about the company and its working.
