INTRODUCTION
The planning can be defined as the process which involves thinking and organizing
activities that are required to accomplish the desired goals. It is the process of management that I
concerned with defining the objectives of the company so that future direction is provided to it
and the resources and mission is determined so that the targets can be achieved. It is essential to
plan for work as it is regarded as the innovative approach so that the work is accomplished in
organization. The workplace management focuses on optimization of physical environment of
workplace and also focuses on activities of workplace but it is concerned with optimizing and
overseeing environment in which work is to take place (Galli, 2018). This report is based on the
project which is creation of marketing material for the skills for workplace program and
promoting it in the local community and recruiting 4 new applicants to interview and the
assessment process. It will cover critical assessment of project management techniques and tools,
critical analysis of tool and ability to plan and description of organization of work. Further it will
include how plan of project is to be communicated to stakeholders, report on finding of project
together with evaluative and monitoring tools and lastly the reflection o project management
abilities.

The project management tools are mainly used to assist the individual or the team in the
organization and management of the tasks and projects in an effective manner. It is mainly used
to define workflow and how project will be taken the shape. It provides the ability to the project
manager to establish the hierarchy of the task easily for the efficient and effective completion of
the project. For the present project of marketing the skills for workplace program and
recruitment of applicant for project, the following are the project management techniques and
tools used which are narrated below-
Setting out aims and objectives of project- The objectives of the project are the
development of project’s procedure for initiating, planning, executing, regulating, closing
and guiding the operations of team so that the agreed goals and objectives are achieved

I feel very happy and glad that I got the opportunity to manage this project. The aims and
objectives of the project were achieved successfully with the help of various tools and techniques
of project management. Initially I was afraid of undertaking this project because I have the fear
of completing this project on time. But I used my time management skills so that I can manage
the activities of project on time and within its scope. Secondly, I found it difficult in managing
the project at initial time but the team work pays off for the hard work which was put on by very
team member as everyone worked with coordinately with each other so that there are less chaos
and confusion. I got the ability to develop the team work skills which is considered as an
important aspect for the professional development. I also got the opportunity to inculcate the

but now I realized that I must use the participative leadership style so that the ideas and opinions
can help me making my desired outcome more effective. Participative leadership style is very
essential for the future career development as it helps in welcoming the more ideas which
broadens the scope of thinking, thereby making the work more efficient and productive. But
while undertaking this project, I faced many hurdles which include timely completion of project
but with the help of Gantt chart, I was able to overcome my hurdle. Moreover I also faced the
challenge of making right decision as I lacked the decision making ability but while doing this
project, I was able to inculcate this skills which will help me in my professional and personal
development. Hence, my overall experience of undertaking this project was amazing as I got to
learn a lot from this project and this will help me in my future career development.
Recommendation
It is recommended from this project and experience that one must use the participative
leadership style while working in team so that the morale and motivation level of team members
are enhanced and they can perform effectively. Moreover, it more tools of project management
can be used in this project such as work breakdown structure so that the tasks can be defined
more clearly and properly.

Reflection on project management abilities and drawing out recommendation for future.
I feel very happy and glad that I got the opportunity to manage this project. The aims and
objectives of the project were achieved successfully with the help of various tools and techniques
of project management. Initially I was afraid of undertaking this project because I have the fear
of completing this project on time. But I used my time management skills so that I can manage
the activities of project on time and within its scope. Secondly, I found it difficult in managing
the project at initial time but the team work pays off for the hard work which was put on by very
team member as everyone worked with coordinately with each other so that there are less chaos
and confusion. I got the ability to develop the team work skills which is considered as an
important aspect for the professional development. I also got the opportunity to inculcate the
