 This presentation explains the sustainability
in context with the tourism development
along with the different factors affecting the
sustainable tourism development at Qatar.
 We will also discuss the different stages of
planning the sustainability.
INTRODUCTION

 Sustainability mainly deals with the three major
factors i.e. environmental, economic and socio-
cultural factors in the tourism development.
 To endure long term sustainable development a
proper balance need to maintain between all the
three dimensions of the sustainability.
 Qatar as a country of travel and tourism need to
adopt the adequate measures for doing planning
of the sustainable development of the tourism in
consideration of all three above factors of
sustainability.
SUSTAINABILITY CONCEPT IN TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

 This theory is based on the responsibilities of
the businesses in relation to the social,
economic and environmental aspects or
elements.
 This method suggests to look out of box from
the traditional bottom line approach of doing
businesses for earning profits to the new
triple line approach of conducting
businesses considering the social, financial
and environmental aspect to earn profits.
