Introduction
The purpose of the report is to describe the digital information management. There is
a huge of digital information management as this is a part of a program that is designed with
the purpose of creating and managing the information. It is important to manage digital
information so that they can have proper working. In this paper, I am going to discuss the
reasons behind banning the plastics in regular use. The main reason behind creating panopto
is to provide proper analysis that will help in describing the effects of using plastic within
nature. Apart from this, I would like to describe the effects that are created with the use of
plastic. In addition to this, I will also describe the way the campaign is promoted.
About the concept of “Say no to plastic bags.”
After analysing the facts, I have learnt that several major implications will help in
avoiding the problems and will ensure proper mitigation strategies towards pollution. Thus it
is important to implement proper action that will help in creating and mobilizing all the
communities for banning the use of plastic. Plastics are the materials that are formed with the
use of long chains of carbon and hydrogen and this are stated ass polymers. The major reason
for banning plastic is the capability of deformation. The major reason behind which the
plastic has got such important in the society is the lightweight nature and cheaper production
rate. Apart from this plastic materials has the property of good adhesive nature that helps in
retaining in a harsh climate. The components associated with the plastic can be easily
moulded and are unbreakable. The main reason for banning the use of plastic is that it affects
the environment and also leads to several health issues in animals.
To promote this program, I have conducted surveys and has given training and
awareness regarding the use of plastic. Effective awareness programs have been created so
that people get know about the effects that are created by excessive usage of plastics in the

environment. The campaign was conducted in several schools, colleges and in a different
society. In addition to this, I have created a campaign page on social media so that maximum
members can get to know about the problems that are faced with the use of plastics.
The social view regarding this case is that it harms the environment to a great extent.
These become very difficult to remove and does not gets degrade. This leads to soil pollution
as it becomes difficult to remove and lessens the fertility of the soil. Apart from this as per
my view, it is important to replace the plastic bags with the cotton bags so that it becomes
easy to use and also can be degraded properly. This will reduce the chances of pollution and
will also not impact the environment. Thus it is important to ensure proper measures are
taken for overcoming the situations.
The problem
In this section, I am going to describe the major issues that are faced with the use of
plastic. The use of plastic leads to pollution. The chemical component of plastic includes the
material that can degrade the information. Also when the plastics are burnt in an open area, it
releases carbon monoxides gas that is harmful to living beings. Plastic acts more as an
aesthetic nuisance rather than a hazard as this material is biologically inert. The major
impacts that are created on the environment are related to land, water and air. The major
impact that is created with the use of plastic on land is that it has the capability of harming
the land chemically and physically. In addition to this, the plastics are also responsible for
reducing the soil fertility. One more reason behind avoiding the use of plastics is that it spoils
the hygiene maintained by the environment. I have seen that the growth of plants has reduced
to a huge extent as the plastic reduces the capacity of plants to absorb the minerals. As the
plastic gets dumped into the soil, this gets mixed with soil and reduces the nutrients and also
pollutes the minerals present within the solution. In addition to this, the negative impact that

is created with the use of plastic in the air is that when the plastics bags are burnt, it generates
carbon monoxide that gets fixed with the air. Thus making the air particles polluted and
effects the respiratory system of the human body at the time of breathing. These further
effects the respiratory system and also leads to nervous system disorders within the human
body.
After analysing all the impacts, it is observed that the marine life gets impacted most
of the times. As the animals do not understand what to eat and by mistake they consume it as
food. This affects the digestion system of animals. After ingestion of plastic bags, it becomes
difficult for the animals to digest or pass. Thus marine environment effects hugely and can
impact the lives of all animals present in water.
Ways to reduce plastic usage
To overcome this situation, it becomes import to ensure that proper measures are
implemented for reducing the usage of plastic bags. This is as follows:
 Using reusable bags
 Preventing people from buying bottled water
 Choosing cardboard over plastic
 Avoiding burning of plastic bags
 Creating campaigns and educating about the effects plastic bag created
 Using the concept of recycling, reuse, reduce and refuse
 Supporting the bans that are applied to the use of plastic bags by government
 Creating awareness among the people
 Supporting organization that is working on plastic pollution

Thus from the above report, I can conclude that it is important to avoid the use of
plastic for reducing the environmental impact. In the report, I have described the major issues
related to the use of plastics. Apart from this, I have also explained the effect that is created
on land, soil and water with the use of plastics. Lastly, I have included how the use of
plastics gets reduced. This will help in managing environmental factors properly.
