Leadership style for the initiative-
A leader needs to make sure that the use of an appropriate leadership style is made for
ensuring that they are able to work properly and lead the group of people effectively and
efficiently (Wright and et.al., 2016). In Play & Learn Sports Programme the use of Democratic
Leadership Style has to be adopted by the leaders for leading the team managing the programme.
This is so because in this style the authority to take various decisions is delegated to the different
members which enables them to take their decisions independently thereby helping in the
attainment of the goals and objectives related to the event. Thus by making the use of this style
the leaders can ensure that sufficient independence is provided to the people so that they are able
to take various decisions on their own which helps in enhancing their skills and abilities.
Also this leadership style is very helpful as the leaders are able to give authority to the
other people to take various decisions which thus helps in managing their own workload and
they can concentrate better on other tasks. Thus it is recommended to the management of Play &
Learn Sports Programme that they must use this style for the purpose of hosting this programme
successfully and making it successful.
