Q1. How old is your child?
Analysis: All the parents affirmed that their children belonged to the age group of 0-5 years.
Q2. Since when is your child studying in the play school?
Analysis: This question had mixed reactions. Some of the parents said that their children are
studying in the play schools for just one month. For other parents, they have admitted their
children to the play schools recently….it has been barely one week.
Q3. Are you satisfied with the current quality of play based learning programs?
Analysis: The reactions among the parents, regarding this question were varied. Some of the
parents seemed very satisfied with the quality of play based learning, which the school
authorities were bestowing upon their children. On the other hand, some of the parents were of
the view that the type of service, which the play school is giving, would not help their children in
getting proper academic development. However, some of the parents remained neutral in
response to this question in fear of revealing their identity. This reflected their concern towards
the safety of their children.
Q4. What improvements have you noticed in your child after being admitted to the play school?
Analysis: Some of the parents seemed very eager to answer this question. These parents very full
of praises for the play school in terms of the academic development of their children. One of the
parents said that their child has grown interest in studying. He returns from the school and
compels his parents to listen what he has been taught in school. One of the other parents told
about the creativity of their child in terms of making mesmerizing paper craft. Along with this,

there were negative responses like increase in sleeping hours, more play than study. The parents
talking about these negative responses in their child were full of complaints about the play
school and their teaching methods. These parents were assured that by playing only the children
will learn the basic things. Along with this, they were also assured that at this age, lack of
interest in studies than playing, sleeping are natural and perfectly aligns with the path to
development.
Q5. Do you think any recommendation is needed for enhancing the quality of the education in
the play school?
Analysis: Most of the parents stressed on recommendations for better academic establishment of
their children. As a matter of specification, they laid emphasis on the programs like National
Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework. In response to these concerns of the
parents, they were told about the seminar, which would be held the next Sunday for developing
frameworks and standards of the play based learning education. They were also given free
invitation passes.
