Socialism is better than Capitalism for the Workers
The clash between socialism and capitalism is a never ending one in the society. The
distribution labor, wages, the rights of the employees and irrational aspects of capitalism had
been targeted by socialists for many decades now (Einstein: 36).
This essay will look to find the criticisms about socialism and the problems that have
been encountered to implement capitalism.
Albert Einstein, too, was a socialist who found several problems regarding capitalism.
They found the very basic of capitalism to be wrong (Einstein: 36). The rights of the employees
and problems faced by workers in the capitalist infrastructure were the basic challenges in
capitalism.
Einstein thought the aim of socialism is to think about all the perspectives of society from
an ethical point of view and valuing all people.
Einstein viewed all the human individuals to be social and solitary. Therefore, he must
have a union with society i.e. almost impossible without socialism (Einstein: 36).
It is undeniable that the high functioning of the society is important from some points like
overall well being of human beings (Einstein: 36). Still it cannot match socialism as it treats all
the individuals in the very similar manner.
Socialists are of the opinion that capitalism leads the human beings to get the skills that
will help him to land him with a job. Thus his skills will only be evolved around his profession
and job.

The essence of capitalism will only instill the madness for personal success and riches for
an individual. He will ignore all his duties and responsibilities towards society (Einstein: 36).
Thus a huge gap will be created between the rich and poor. Socialists are of the opinion
that social classification is the outcome of capitalist beliefs. Capitalism will not be useful to
highlight the basic truths of life for human beings at all. Rather it will envelop them within a
certain boundary (Einstein: 36). Apart from that, capitalism also directs the efforts and labors of
workers according to their will. The believers of socialism do not believe in the freedom of
expression for workers. They only treat workers as slaves. This disrupts the social balance.
Believers of socialism always believe in establishing the stability in the society. The
concepts of inequality and injustice will be treated by the socialists in a very strict manner.
They have always taken a strong position regarding the disruption in the society.
Socialists believe capitalism is wrong and it will only cause harm to the people belonging to the
society (Einstein: 36). Rather, socialist policies will take care of all the inequalities within the
society.
Socialism will look to protect the employment rights of people by protesting against
norms of capitalism. This signifies the fact that socialist government will look to protect the
rights of employees and implement some policies that will cater to their development. This is
contrasting to the fact capitalist governments will not give that much importance to the rights of
employees since they want maximum production and profits (Einstein: 36).
In the concluding part, it must be said that socialism is somewhat helpful to establish the
equality within the society. They have brought out the flaws of capitalism and Einstein also
voiced his opinions in favor of socialism that ensures equal rights of people.
