Environmental pollution might take many forms including air, water, land and noise
pollution. The greenhouse gas emission is the most pressing issue that needs to be urgently
addressed because it is the main source of climate change. The main pollutant is the Carbon IV
Oxide emissions from combustion of fossil fuel which has continue to grow and threaten to yield
remarkable climate change via the modification of the planetary heat balance (global warming).
Carbon IV Oxide Carbon IV Oxide leads to surged global temperature, frequency and severity of
storms and other weather extremes (Mamba & Mishra, 2016). Another pressing pollutant is
emission of fluorine during H2O4 roasting of Bastnaesite leaching process which leads to a broad
array of plants’ susceptibility to injury from fluorine compounds. Forage might absorb adequate
fluorine hence producing injury to livestock (secondary damage) that feeds upon it. Another
serious pollutant is particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) which leads to decreased function of
the lung, respiratory and cardiovascular disease development, increased illness progression rate,
reduced life expectancy. These three pollutants will continue to cause significant harmful effects
on both environment. There is an urgent need to see how these can be curbed to minimize the
emission and the resultant consequences (Bildirici & Gökmenoğlu, 2017).
