Introduction
One of the major challenges faced by the developing countries of the world is population
growth and their effective control. There are multiple reasons for the effective management of
increasing population and this includes measures like eradicating poverty, empowerment of the
marginalized population, medical assistance, schemes and awareness among the people (Coale et
al., 2015). However this issue is more complex in real world scenarios. This paper deals with the
issue of population growth, their management and efforts by the governments, rationale behind
the efforts and finally the issue of successful management of the population reduction.

environmental damage and climatic change and there is a need t reduce this process in order to
make the world more sustainable. The article deals with the possible environmental changes

behavior of people. This has given abroad understanding of the rationale and of the government
in decreasing the population growth. The central argument as has been out forward by the author
in this article is that the practice of child rearing has an important impact: however there are
there are more to the issue of increasing population. This highlights the link between the birth
control measures and cultural norms of the population. This is a significant source to analyze the
issue since it validates the measures of birth control taken up by the governments in reducing the

This article is important from the point of the view of the perspective it provides. This
does not deal with the mere issue of birth control measures order to reduce problem of
overpopulation rather it provides the ethical perspective of applying such measures. The central
argument of the article deals with the ethical, social, economic and environmental concerns and
its correlation with the birth control measures. This article has been used to find out the

implications of using such measures and their possible outcomes. Moreover, the author dwells
into the issue of shift of the policies from birth control to pro-natalist. The strength of the article
is the data used as this has helped in comparing the parallel perspectives. This also highlights the
issue of failure of birth control and contraceptive measures in dealing with the problem of
overpopulation and highlights the deep rooted factors behind the population growth. However, it
is indeed a good source to infer the ethical issues and dilemmas of the government and the
violation of individual rights. However, these articles do not take into account any primary
research to substantiate he conclusions.

An Empirical Analysis.
According to the author, the issue of macroeconomic development and inclusiveness of
people of countries with higher population are correlated. This essay informs about the
government’s effort is South-Asia to reduce the population growth in order to make the process
of economic development all inclusiveness. The central argument of the essay deals with issues
of the centrality of the population growth control and macroeconomic situations. In order to
make the economic situation stable, the author argues there is a need to develop measures for the
effective management of population growth within the country. This paper has used primary and
secondary sources for deriving reliable data in order to argue the correlation of the two important
factors. Even though the article focuses on the issues of population control and economic
stabilization process of the South-Asian countries: however the weakness of the articles is that it
only deals with the economic factors while determining the population growth control of a
nation. This article has been used in analyzing the statistical data and includes it further into the
research.

The significance of this article is that it deals with the subject of population growth and
success rate of the respective governments in implementation of such measures. The central
argument of the author is that family planning measures have been successful within the context
of Bangladesh: however the government faces substantial challenges even after the
implementation of such measures. As the author mentions that there are certain loopholes in the
policy implementation and it is natural to face such barriers while issuing such measures. These
issues highlighted here are then lack of effective counseling method in order to identify the
demand of the people and secondly it also deals with the issue of quality care. Since the issue of
population control is much more serious than understood, it requires extra care and concern in
the heath care management(Van den Berg, 2016). Hence, it is argued by the author that the
population control measures have not between successful in all case scenarios and it requires
better understanding of the situation before implementing such measures. This article is a strong
evidence of the challenges and failure of the government: however it is questionable in much
ground since it is not substantiated by the primary data of such case of failure. This article has
been used in analyzing the issue of challenges and issues faced by the government. However,
there is more scope left to research in this issue.
Conclusion
As predicted by Malthus that population grows exponentially and this increases
according to the increase in the birth rate. This raises question like population growth and the
nuances attached t it. This essay deals with the concept of population growth, the government’s

measures and the ethical consideration of implementation of such measures. This highlights the
issues of success and failure of the government in dealing with issue of population reduction
with multiple examples.
