Necessary Characteristics of the Portfolio management for handling multiple projects and
diversification
A shift in the core competence and a changed outlook towards the tacit knowledge pool of the
organization will enforce the primary conditions for the transformation of the necessary
characteristics that fall under the category of Portfolio management of an organization. These
characteristics can be jotted down as under.
Development of a Multifaceted profile by encouraging diversification
The core promoters and the portfolio managers should have a keen eye towards the addition of
new processes and competencies in the main operational framework of the company. This
versatility in the portfolio can help the company in exploring new projects with a confident
