TASK 1
The wheel of life is also known as the coaching wheel to understand the here and now
situation which help in achieving a work-life balance.
The area’s I am extremely satisfied are the love and romance and my personal development
since I recently found love of my life. It seems that all my dream came true in the form of my
partner. I feel tremendously lucky. when I talk about my personal development, the seminars and
workshop that I have attended in past couple of months have helped me to grow personally and
enhance my self confidence at the time of communication.
According to my personal wheel of life, the area I need improvement is the Friends and
Family. In this fast and busy life, we all are running to get success in every field but tend to
forget the important relations. The people who were standing as your back in all the situations
are generally taken for granted.
The score is low because my priority has changed over the period. Due to study and
career development, my focus has been shifted. In race to score high and get success in every
field, I am only able to concentrate on one thing at a time.

TASK 2
The entire session was full of abundance knowledge to investigate different aspects of one’s
life and how can we improve upon the most challenging area to facilitate our performance in
near future. The one-on-one connection between the speaker and participants was amazing. I like
the GROW model most. Firstly, identify a realistic goal and then explore the options through
which you can reach the same.
My takeaway from the session is the fact that everything is linked with the perspective you
see it. It is effortless to achieve the desired goal through a set course of action plan. I have
learned about the essential elements that is Building rapport, Active Listening, Careful
Questioning and Reaching Agreement and the role they play in the effective coaching.
The wheel of life not only allow you to assess but motivate to change for the desired goal in
long term. I am bit dicey about the way it works. It seems difficult to follow a path in long run to
seek the position in the wheel of life. I am looking to improve in more than one aspect of my life
and unable to figure out the priority point.
The question of effectiveness arises in my mind and what if I still fail to improve the desired
need. I felt, real life connection was missing. A coaching tool connected with real life scenario
with more examples would have aided in my understanding.
Firstly, I would look at the areas of improvement in my wheel of life and will identify the
most important aspect I am seeking growth in. A personal development plan will help in
achieving them. I need to balance my personal and career life to improve my terms with my
family and friends. To find that balance I can create a schedule where I can decide upon the days,
I will spend more pleasure time with my dear ones apart from my other responsibility in life.
TASK 3
Step 1: Identifying the Development Areas
Keeping in mind the personal wheel of life, I am seeking improvement in the health and
fitness area of my life. Over the period, I have realized that I kind of ignore my health issue
which is due to long hour of sitting and unhealthy lifestyle. Being healthy is the need of an hour
as unhealthy routine may result in medical issues. Health bring peace of mind and happy mind
can think differently. For this, my specific goal is to live a healthy life through a balanced diet
and a proper fitness routine. Active lifestyle will aid in better function of your body, without
which I can’t grow in any aspect of my life.

Step 2: Identify the options
Consulting the people around me if they are facing the same problem and the ways in
which they overcome. A healthy and fit lifestyle can be achieved in the following ways
Creating a daily schedule of diet on weekly basis.
Joining gym for better stamina and strong body
Reading books about healthy lifestyle
Cut down on weekly going out with friends
Watch videos related to home exercising for the days I am unable to go to the gym
Step 3: Planning for activities
By waking up early in the morning would help me the best in achieving this goal. After
waking up, I will go on jogging to burn my fat. Integrating lots of fruits and vegetables will help
me in staying healthy. Approx. 10 to 12 glass of water intake, will keep my body hydrated along
with 3 times meal in a day. As a student, it’s not convenient to follow this regime as most of the
time is spend in studying. I need to find out the balance between the career and my health.
Step 4: Undertake the planned activities
Monitoring is the important aspect in any targeted goal. If you lack in monitoring, one is
unable to understand the distance between reaching the desired goal. The development can be
measured in terms of:
I am constantly following the diet chart that has been prepared by my dietician.
I have started looking at the positive side of things.
My personality looks more appealing these days.
Reduced a good amount of weight.
Step 5: Applying the knowledge in the workplace
A healthy and fit lifestyle has helped me to be more productive in my work. My thoughts
are clear and have gained a lot of confidence in myself. A positive impact is visible in my
behaviour and is reflected in everything I do.

Professional development is only possible when you are happy and in stable state of mind.
