INTRODUCTION
Personal development includes the self improvement which includes the
increased self awareness, creating potential, increasing the marketable skills and
maintaining a proper work life balance. It is also a procedure of the improvement of self
in different aspects of life in a conscious manner and the improvement of the personal
knowledge, talents, skills and the competencies. This report will discuss the reflective
statement that will demonstrate the effective communication skills which are
implemented to the academic and the professional context, identification of the
professional and the academic areas that need to be developed further and the
necessary action plan (Berei,2020).
MAIN BODY
Task 1
Reflective Statement
The group presentation taught me various characteristics that are necessary to
get as an educator. Proper communication skills is an important thing which must be
acquired in order that it will provide advantage to the young learners. It also taught me
many interpersonal communication skills that must be practices when communicating
with the staff members, the people who are visiting to the school or the caregivers and
the parents. From the group presentation it was being learned about the definition of the
success which is defined when the objectives are achieved or it can even be said when
something small is being achieved and a feeling of the satisfaction is experienced from
the individual. That success might be small or big but it brings a smile on the face and
also bring happiness in the lives of an individual. When a particular person is successful
then he or she is also famous, powerful and rich. When that person lives a life and
executes a specific activity then they feel satisfaction and happiness in that feeling.
Success can be found in any field and aspect of life and it can only be fulfilled with the
help of dedication, hard work and commitment. Determination is the main element of the
success and it is also the considered as the secret to the successful life. In order for an
individual to be successful in his or her life they must inculcate the idea of never giving
up until and unless they acquire complete satisfaction and contentment in their life.
Various people find happiness and contentment in multiple ways. Another main thing

that I learnt was to learn from the mistakes of ourselves as we can learn the most
crucial lessons from these mistakes and accordingly improve in our life. The main
aspect in which we can learn from our mistakes is by admitting it and never
underestimating them. By learning from our mistakes we can resolve them accordingly.
In order to succeed for an individual he or she must apply those lessons in their life and
also identify that reading and learning are not the activities that they perform in the class
but they will also be applied in the lifelong process (Turakhanov, 2021).
The new and the latest information that was being presented to me were the
effective and the efficient techniques and the methods which can assist in increasing
the success of the student that includes the critical thinking approach, technical skills,
adaptability, time management skills and the communication power along with the self
confidence. Moreover, money is not the measure in identifying the success. The actual
success is the one for which people must strive for. This can be acquired in multiple
areas and fields like business, politics and education. In recent times, it is considered
that wealth is equal to success but success is a complete fabrication. Also, success is
also related to life a comfortable life and it is also believed that if someone has money
then they will be successful eventually. To acquire the success in the academic life, it is
being recommended in the presentation to acknowledge the strengths and the
weaknesses of the individual so that they can focus on the strength and decrease their
weaknesses. In the lives of the student, the main advantage of setting the objective is to
acquire the success in their academic lives. Specifying a smart goal is necessary for the
future of the students that stands for the specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and
timely. This also assists them to acquire what they need in their life and then work
accordingly for their goals (Setiyono and Al Fawzia, 2021).
The interesting thing was that not to compare ourselves with other people as
everyone has different abilities and capacities in their lives and doing the things in our
own way. As the examinations will approach nearer, so it is important that we the
student do not feel oppressed and not irritate our peers and neighbours. Paying
attention to what the teacher teaches is also very important and this can be done by
taking the notes in the class and showing them with the respect which will also assist us
to comprehend and learn the subject in a more easy manner and gain the listening skills

also. In order to be a successful student it requires to pay attention in the class every
time and follow the instructions of the teacher. It is also important to be focused on what
the teacher is teaching in the class and not paying any attention to any distractions.
Success can be acquired in the studentship as the various colleges and the universities
assists the students in overcoming the challenges of the future. These kind of the
courses also help in evaluation as well as the professional development of the person.
Also, there were many challenges that I faced at the time of learning which were the
deadlines of the submission of the reports and the assignments. There was also
pressure of the exams. But also at the same time it also helped me in improving my
time management skills by maintaining the targets and organizing the days according to
the deadlines of the tasks and the activities (Kravtsova, 2021).
Task 2
Development of professional and academic areas
The academic skills which are needed to be developed further includes the
global awareness that helps in the comprehension of the different cultures and utilise
this knowledge to acknowledge the problems across the globe. Information literacy is
another thing which helps in recognising the requirements related to the information and
also utilise the proper resources to acquire and communicate this information.
Presenting in front of the public will create and display the ideas and the opinions with
the help of the public presentations with the rising sophistication and complexity. The
quantitative reasoning in which the student learn to convert and manipulate the
information and implement the particular concepts and the skills in order to resolve the
issues of the real world, science and technology in which it is bring specified about the
impact of the science and the technology on each other and the use of both in
examining the human and the natural created systems. The written communication
which help in the creation and the expression of the ideas in writing along with
increased complexity and sophistication (Perko, 2020).
The development of the professional areas includes the setting of the objective,
communication, collaboration, active listening, resolution of the conflict, adaptability,
organisation of the things and accepting the constructive feedback. The top professional
skills that are required to be developed are the analytical thinking and the innovation,

the learning strategies and the active learning, initiative, originality and creativity,
programming, design and technology, thinking and analysing critically, dealing with the
complexities, social and the leadership impacts, emotional intelligence, problem solving
and reasoning, evaluation and the systems analysis. The professional development
skills are also known as the soft skills that helps us in encouraging the routine life at the
work and also support us in creating the better relationships with the peers and get
noticed by the top level staff and become the top member of the team. The skills which
are being used in the professional development area includes creating the ability of an
individual to utilise the reason and the logic for the development of the inventive
solutions, to give priority to the growth of the professional area, to think in a creative
way like developing the efficiencies, launching the latest initiatives, acquiring the
untapped markets, learning to program and design the software which in the preaviling
times is very high in demand, paying more emphasize to the critical thinking, thinking
more about the complicated issues which will help in challenging us, be able to motivate
the ambition and being intelligent emotionally, creation of the enhanced efficiencies for
the individual as well as the organisation and enhancing the skills with more deeper
comprehension of the operational activities and the way in which they can be improved
(Caldwell and Anderson, 2021).
Task 3
Action Plan
For the development of the action plan it is important to consider some
necessary steps which are needed to be followed in order to get the desired results.
Defining the end goal
If the individual is not clear about what he or she want to achieve then he is most likely
to fail so for this purpose in order to plan a new initiative it is important to first initially
begin by defining where he is and where he want to be in the future. For the solution of
the problem, the situation must be analysed and the potential solutions must be
examined before placing them on the priority. The goals of the individual must be in the
SMART criteria that is specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and timely (Lauermann
and Berger, 2021).
Listing down the steps

Developing a kind of a rough template in which all the objectives which needed to be
performed must be listed with their specific people accountable and the due dates. IT is
necessary to make sure that the complete team is being included in this procedure and
they can access the specific document through which they will have the information
about their functions and their responsibilities in the projects. It must be made sure that
each and every task must be defined in a clear way and it can be attained (Konjaria,
2018).
Prioritise tasks and make deadlines
In this step the reorganisation of the list take place by giving the priority to the particular
tasks. Making the realistic deadlines and communicating with the people who are
accountable for implementing it out to comprehend his or her capacity before making
the deadlines.
Setting the milestones
Milestones are known as the mini goals that ultimately lead to the primary and the main
goal. The benefit of setting the milestones is that they provide the team members plan
something for the future and also assist them to stay encouraged even though the
deadline is far away.
Recognising the resources required
Before beginning the project it is important to consider all the important resources for
the completion of the tasks and if they are not present at the time then initially the plan
to acquire those resources must be made (SHUKHRAT).
Visualizing the action plan
It means to make something that everyone can comprehend and can be shared among
them. The action plan must be communicated to everyone in an effective manner and
should have all the necessary elements.
Monitor, evaluate and update
Allocation of the time for the examination of the progress and acquiring attention to the
way in which the goal has been accomplished, In this manner, the goals which are
needed to be given importance must be found and then the action plan must be made
according to that.

 Student engagement
When the students learn with the help of the actual tasks and the practical experiences
then they are more likely to get involved that leader to the higher achievement and
attendance.
 College and career readiness
By offering the students with the opportunities to comprehend the world and the
different people, culture and the perspectives, the colleges are offering the students with
a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
 Social emotional learning
The global education assist in the awareness of the culture, beliefs, identity and their
way of connecting with the world of an individual and the relationship building skills with
multiple people and groups with the help of collaboration and effective communication
(Lazarus, 2018).
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been discussed the reflective statement that will
demonstrate the effective communication skills which are implemented to the academic
and the professional context, identification of the professional and the academic areas
that need to be developed further and the necessary action plan.
