Poverty in a World of Plenty
In 21st Century there are two sides where one side reflects the richness of the world
people who are earning millions of dollar in a year while other side where people are not even
able to get food for two times in a day which reflects the poverty. In the world there are
approximately 1 billion people are in the situation of poverty that they are fighting between life
and death and every year more than 8 billion people dies due to poverty. The term poverty is
explained in different way by different countries according to their analysis. Basically the people
who are earning less than $ 1.25 in a day are suffering from the poverty (Poortinga, 2019).
Poverty is included with the social, political and economic elements; people who are
suffering from this not have appropriate quantity of income and resources for fulfilling their
daily needs. There are various aspects for measuring the poverty in which absolute poverty,
relative poverty, and secondary poverty are included. There are many sources of poverty as well
as solutions are also available to minimize poverty (Bergmann, & Todd, 2019). To eliminate the

not capable to reach the first step of the development in some corners of the world.
There is huge requirement of plans, system, accountability and mechanisms associated
with the financing. For poverty various reasons are analyzed in which unemployment is playing
a major role due to limited access in earning income for the people who are living in the rural or
remote areas (Davis, 2019). Poor household is one of the most common reasons which are

to a study in 2000 the organized war and violence affects 39 countries which increase the poverty
level twice of the non-violent country.

refers to those people who have not any sources for food, money water or shelter but it reflects
that people who have fear, shame, who are socially isolated, powerlessness, and suffering with
