Power System Network Design, Protection Scheme and Fault Analysis

This project focuses on designing a power system network, dividing it into zones, and developing a protection scheme. It includes a single-line diagram with per-unit values, calculations of line and fault currents, and selection of appropriate CT ratios. The project details the design of the network for software model validation, outlines protection zones, and presents appropriate relay settings for overcurrent, differential, and distance protection schemes. Fault analysis is performed at various points in the network, and the results are used to determine appropriate protection settings. The network schematics are updated to show load current, fault current, CT ratio, relay, and circuit breaker with standard device numbers.
