Portfolio
AI Summary
This portfolio, created for the PPMP20012 unit, focuses on comparing and contrasting manual and electronic PPPM (Project, Program, and Portfolio Management) application systems. The assignment explores the advantages and disadvantages of these systems across the project life cycle, covering various PPPM knowledge areas. The student reflects on the week's lectures, readings (including SEBoK and AS/NZS 15288), and optional resources like AS ISO 21504 and BP News. Key topics include product development processes, service level agreements, knowledge performance indicators, information sharing, workflow creation, and the importance of both explicit and tacit knowledge. The portfolio also introduces the concept of a system of systems and different program types. The assignment also addresses how application systems help monitor performance and manage changes within the project. References to Kerzner & Kerzner (2017) and Fleming & Koppelman (2016) are included.

The topic that has been discussed in week 7 lecture is comparison and
contrast between the advantages and disadvantages of electronic PPPM
and manual application system in each of the PPPM knowledge are over
project life cycle period. In order to design and develop any product
proper processes are needed to be followed by the project associates. I
have learned about the different products development processes such
as building construction, data processing, creative writing proves,
integration etc.
I have also learned the role of service level agreement, service evolution
and identification of knowledge performance indicator in project and
product design and development. Throughout the project development
life cycle period the how all needful functions are to be coordinated,
information should be shared and workflow needs to be created are also
discussed in the class.
I have also realized that, both explicit knowledge and tactic knowledge
are important for propel, knowledge and organizational asset
management. The enterprises are needed to add values to meet the
expectation of the stakeholders and all other consumers. I have learned
another completely new concept that is system of system. System of
system is an integration of many independent and operatable systems.
It is recognized that if these systems get connected together then the
project manager would be able to meet the project goals much easily.

I have also learned about the different types of system such as directed,
acknowledged, collaborative and virtual. The types of programs that are
widely used for managing program and project are strategic type,
emergent and compliance type.
