1. INTRODUCTION
For successful progress in business time management is indicated as one of the most
crucial approaches that plays active roles. During the project learning phase, different
lessons have been learnt and their according framework details with respective
improvement strategies are implemented in the assignment. In order to accomplish any
project it is mandatory to gather and analyse those data in an accurate manner.
However, during these phase major issues may arise which may impact negatively the
progress of the project. The situation during ongoing progress period within PPM20008,
the reflective situation is also elaborated below.
2A. LESSONS LEARNT: FRAMEWORK
2.1 How I planned to gather and document lessons learnt
When I planned to
identify and collect

Who I planned to
involve in the process
of gathering lessons
How I planned to
document lessons
The time when I have
joined the course I
realized that I need to
gather data from the
different resources and
require to analyse them
accordingly. I have also
learnt that successful
collection and analysis
of data will help me to
gain effective
knowledge and also
lead me to improve my
professional skills.
I have planned to
involve all assigned
project team members
and the supervisor who
was guiding me
throughout the project
progress phase.
The gathered data can
be documented through
both the automated
approach and manual
approach. Less amount
of efforts will be required
for successfully
document the data. On
the other hand, in case
of manual approach the
updates and all needs to
be done manually. Thus,
I have planned to
document the lessons
though spread sheets.

between the planned and
actual situation. After
making comparison
between the identified and
collected data I have
realized that the main
issues is improper time
management. If the time is
not accurately managed
then massive issues will
raise. It is indicated that

information.
3.1 LESSON 1
1. Situation 2. The situation made me
feel…
3. What I learnt from
reflecting on the
situation
During the PPM20008
lesson I have learnt that,
lack of skills and
knowledge of the project
team members is a major
reason for failure. Due to
lack of knowledge they are
unable to understand the
aim and objectives of the
projects and naturally
failing to meet the project
goal. It is becoming difficult
to manage such resources
who are even not aware
about the project
objectives.
This situation made me
feel extremely frustrated.
From the lesson learnt
reflecting situation I have
learnt that, on-job training
and development program
for the resources are very
much necessary to
improve the internal
bonding among the project
team members.

3.2 LESSON 1: IMPROVEMENT STRATEGY
1.
Improvement
strategy
2. How to
measure if the
strategy
works
3. Why the
strategy is
achievable
4. Relevance
of strategy to
address the
lesson
5. When the
strategy will
be
implemented
The specific
improvement
strategy for this
situation is
implementation
of effective
communication.
It is defined
that, with
successful open
communication
the project
manager and
the project team
members will
feel free to
interact with
other be sharing
their innovative
ideas and
creativity at the
same time.
Whether the
improvement
strategy is
working
successfully or
not can be
measured by
measuring the
performance of
the team
members.
This specific
strategy is
achievable
because I have
a good
communication
skill and I can
interact with
everyone easily.
It will give them
an independent
platform where
they can
communicate
properly.
This strategy is
relevant to the
lesson 1 as will
help to minimize
the issues of
communication.
The strategy
will be
implemented
by (8/12/2018).
4.1 LESSON 2
1. Situation 2. The situation made me
feel…
3. What I learnt from
reflecting on the
situation
The other tough situation
which I have faced is lack
of proper guidance from
some of the supervisor. As
I have no previous working
experience in such
situation therefore, lack of
support from the superiors
has been identified as a
major challenge.
The situation made me feel
very confused because I
did not have enough
knowledge regarding this.
From this situation I have
learnt that, besides skills
and knowledge another
thing required is guidance
and support from the
higher authority. Even if I
have enough but still due
to lack of guidance within
the PPM20008 course
serious challenges may
arise.

1.
Improvement
strategy
2. How to
measure if the
strategy works
3. Why the
strategy is
achievable
4. Relevance
of strategy to
address the
lesson
5. When the
strategy will
be
implemented
In order to
improve lack of
guidance issue
the strategy
include
implementation
of incentives.
Incentive will
keep the project
team members
engaged to their
job roles which
will somewhere
reduce the
issues of lack of
supervisor’s
guidance.
From the
performance of
the team
members
whether the
strategy is
working or not
can be
successfully
measured.
This strategy is
achievable for
me because
small
incentives can
be processed
for the group
members.
This
improvement
strategy is
relevant to the
lesson 2
because it will
help to
minimize the
issues with lack
of guidance.
This specific
strategy will be
implemented by
(9/25/2018).
5.1 LESSON 3
1. Situation 2. The situation made me
feel…
3. What I learnt from
reflecting on the
situation
Another situation that gave
positive vibes regarding
the situation is support
from the group members.
Through the internal group
member’s support the
issues with time
management can be partly
minimized.
This situation made me
feel very happy.
I have learnt that internal
team support can lead any
project toward success
even issues of tough times
can also be resolved
though this support as
knowledge sharing
increase the team
effectiveness.

Motivation and

strategy that
should have to
be implemented
for such
situation
The
effectiveness of
such strategy
can be
measured
through the
involvement
and

the team
members
This strategy is
achievable
because I have
