AI Summary
This report details lessons learnt from the PPMP20008 course, focusing on stakeholder identification, project scope management, and project estimation techniques. It outlines a framework for gathering and documenting lessons, comparing planned actions with actual events. Key issues faced included identifying project success early, prioritizing projects, and resource planning. Improvement strategies, such as extending project collaboration and using stakeholder matrices, are suggested to address these issues. The report concludes that a well-defined project scope is crucial for accurate estimation and that project management software can enhance collaboration, budget management, and overall project success. The goal is to standardize project plans, estimation plans, and scope management to better meet project goals.

1. INTRODUCTION
The lessons learnt are based on PPMP20008 where I have learnt about various project
management framework developed for lesson learning processes. The lessons learnt are being
composed and reproduced its importance. Issues which are faced throughout the lesson
learning processes are also identified in this paper. After identification of the issues,
improvements strategies are implemented to address the issues along with modify it for future
study. In this paper, there are three lessons are mentioned such an identification of the project
stakeholders, project scope management and project estimation techniques. The lessons learnt
frameworks are adopted into the project so that the lessons are properly implemented into my
study. I had also faced of some problems during the lessons learnt such as identification of the
project success before release, prioritise the projects and faced of resource planning issues.
Those three lessons learnt are done while involved into the course work of PPMP20008..

I have planned to involve all
the project team members to
gather the information on the
stakeholder identification as
they are major project

I planned to conduct a

the stakeholders group so
that I can generate of
solutions as possible to the
problems and issues. Before
performing the brainstorming
session, I have to perform a
ground rules to be set.

3. What I learnt from
reflecting on the situation
Identification of the project
stakeholders is required as
the projects are undertaken
to fulfil the project
requirements.
That I am happy when I
planned to identify the
individuals and group of
people those are influencing
by the project output.
I learnt to develop proper
strategies to identify the
stakeholders. I have analysed
the stakeholders based on
their interests, impact and

success to engage the
project life.

4.1 LESSON 2
1. Situation 2. The situation made me
feel…
3. What I learnt from
reflecting on the situation
Project scope management is
required as defining the work
required and ensured that the
work is done. It provides a
detailed process of
determination of scope and
its control.
That I am not as happy at
that situation as it is difficult
to address the scope of
project when I have to
achieve the goal based on
business requirements.
I leant to determine as well as
document of the project
resources and requirements
of business. I also
demonstrate the project
features and products. I
develop recommendations
from the expert to analyse the
project scope and goal.

5. When the

for significance of
work breakdown
structure.
I would know the
strategy was
working as I
could measure it
by validate the
project scope. I
would determine
the project
outputs with the
project
deliverables to
get the feedback
on project.
This strategy is
achievable for me
because
monitoring and
measuring the
project progress
improves the
scope of project
work.
This strategy is
relevant to lesson
2 as it will
address to define
the scope,
validate and
control of project
scope.
I will implement

i.e. by 30th

5.1 LESSON 3
1. Situation 2. The situation made me

3. What I learnt from
reflecting on the situation
A project estimation technique
is used to find an approximation
of project value which is used
even if the input data are
incomplete and unstable. I
determined the project cost so
that proper estimation is to be
done for project completion. I
planned to complete the project
on deadline so that there are no
such delays are occurred.
That I am frustrated to
estimate the time as well as
cost using analogous and
parametric estimation
techniques. Those two
techniques can take place to
acquire and plan the project
along with execute the
project as per need arises.
I leant to take reference of
similar projects and same
data to estimate the project
cost. The cost plan is
iterative and permits the
adjustments as time passes
and details are provided.

6. CONCLUSION
The lessons learnt framework is shape the project in proper way into allocated time and cost.
Lessons are being identified and learned regards to different aspects of the project management.
Throughout entire reflection process, the issues are identified which I was faced throughout entire
course work. I had used of SMART improvement strategies to address the issues to create a better
project work for future. The project estimation is not done properly without proper understanding of
project scope. With a detailed project scope, more detailed as well as accurate project estimation
is to be done. Size, complexity along with stage of project will provide an impact on level of
accuracy needed. Alignment with the project estimation, there is required of time consumption
required to create the estimation of project work based on scope, stage in addition to also accuracy
of project. While working into the course work, I used of project management software to determine
the project scope and cost so that I can successfully complete the project work on time. The
software is used collaborate the project, budget management, monitoring, sharing of documents,
communication with the clients and decision making. It helps to enhance the customer satisfaction
so that all the project requirements are to be meeting on scheduled time. There is required to
standardize the project plan, estimation plan and scope management plan to meet with the project
goals and deliverables.
