From this unit I learned about the best
practices the enterprises and the individuals
must take up for success of the project. The
best practices can give them the competitive
advantage.
The presentation file demonstrates all the
basic steps for the assessing readiness.
There are three steps for assessing the
readiness. In the first step, the three
factors- organisational change
management, sustained leadership and the
continuous improvement are considered. In
the next step, the project feasibility is
analysed. In the third case, a business case
is proposed for executive approval. The
project feasibility is determined by the cost-
benefit position and the strategic need. The
project manager must evaluate the current
state of the organisation and based on that
they must prepare roadmap or a blueprint.
The project manager and his team members
assess the current state of the organisation
and then analyse the future state. The
project manager captures the OPM’s
rationale and must set parameters and
explain the success criteria. It is the
responsibility of the project manager and
his team to assess what they want to
achieve and on the basis of that they must
prepare a project plan. They must conduct
the feasibility study as well as the cost-
benefit analysis. The feasibility analysis will
help to know whether the project can be
completed maintaining safety, cost and
ease of execution requirements. The cost-
benefit analysis will help to know whether
the project will provide the financial
benefits or not

me, the organisations with the help of the
OPM framework can help to analyse the

company. I believe that following project
methodologies they can achieve success. The
management team decides to take up Prince2.
The Prince2 will help the organisations to
carry out the project activities effectively
ethically and efficiently. Also, they must
take up the project activities ethically and
efficiently. The management staff will have
to keep in mind the business objectives.
They have to apply Prince2 in accordance
with the business objectives. The project
manager must develop an organisation PM.
The organisation PM describes the project
process with constant documentation
format. They must follow the governance
policies. The governance enables the
continuous management of projects; it also
aids decision making. It facilitates timely as
well as a proper assessment of skills. Thus,
in short, the project manager will have to
review the portfolio at forts, then they will
have to analyse the necessary skills required
for the project. They can also analyse the
gaps within the project. The gaps will help
them to know where that should make
improvements. They can take intervention
strategies like an adaptation of Prince2

From this unit, I learned that the project
manager and the project stakeholders must
work in collaborate fashion and complete the
project in accordance with the project
deliverables and the project methodology to
get the best outcome.
The project manager is responsible for
preparing the project plan. The project
stakeholders assigned to the project will
have to work according to the project plan.
They will have to follow the project
methodology, Prince2. The project
stakeholders must work with responsibility
following the project plan. A project
consists of several processes and steps. The
Work Breakdown Structure explains all the
project steps in details. The project plan or
the work plan demonstrates the units of
work at every level; it distinguishes one
work package from other. The work plan
contains the start date as well as the end
date. The work plan also specifies the
budget required to carry out the project.
The WBS Dictionary consists of the detailed
deliverable, activity as well as the
scheduling information. The project
stakeholders must follow the WBS
Dictionary. The software project must be
carried out in accordance with the SDLC life
cycle phases. The SDLC phases consist of the
following steps- Initiation, System Concept
Development, Planning, Requirements
Analysis, Design, Development, Testing,
Implementation, operations and
maintenance and the final step is the
disposition. The project plan consists of the
following steps- initiating, planning,
executing, monitoring and controlling and
closing. The stakeholders will have to follow
the project steps accordingly to finish the
project within time efficiently.
