relevance of
systems thinking to
the project,
program and

With the help of readings and objectives of this week, this is clear that system
thinking used and it is helpful in the portfolios. Both the system thinking and
project management are same. The projects and programs of company has been
controlled, selected and prioritised which is based on strategic objectives.
Aligning the strategic objective of the company, assessing the changes, deletion
and the addition in forming the portfolio has been done in portfolio by the help
of system management. Other than this the things that has gone well and the
things in which improvement has been required and the reason for increasing
the capability and productivity, all these thing has been done in portfolio with
the help of system management. So the system thinking provides many benefits

The strategies of the system thinking helps those managers who have the

System thinking is associated with the approach of system engineering which
required managerial and technical efforts for the system transformation based
on the customer needs, constraints and expectations. An innovative project has

thinking which enable learning of the complex situation (Kerzner, 2013).
